Most harmful pollutants.
Have you ever walked on a beach that has no trash and pure, clean sand, or swam in a lake or ocean that is completely clean, or have breathed in clean and perfectly pure air? Very few people can say they have. Today most of our world is polluted, whether it's the water, air or even our land. You have probably heard of soil, water, air and land pollution, but have you ever heard of radioactive pollution? All four of these pollutants are extremely harmful to the environment.
Radioactive Pollution
Have you ever heard of radioactive Pollution well it's a very common pollutant but very few people know about it . What even is radioactive Pollution you may be asking. To start, radioactive pollution happens when there

Based on the information from http://www.differencebetween.info/different-types-of-pollution It clearly explains that it can happen from leakages or accidents at nuclear power plants, as well as from improper disposal of nuclear waste. The toxins from the pollution can result in deterioration of health, birth defects, cancer, and even death. Radioactive poisoning started to rise in the 20th century, along with the rise of atomic physics and nuclear weapons such as nuclear bombs. As you can see, it is an extremely harmful pollution.
Did you know?
Radiation energy is transferred by particles or

Well, that's what land pollution, is it's basically pollution on land. Based on the information from http://poopy.org/land-pollution/land-pollution-facts/ it claims that, due to land polliton, the earth loses approxpitly 25 billiom tons of valuble topsoil each year. In addition to that, it take about 500 years for 2.5 centimeters of topsoil to regenerate, and the united states loses soil at a rate of 17 times higher than it takes to generate a new topsoil. Oddly enough, approximately 30% of the air pollution in San Francisco originates in
“The Nuclear Waste” In the essay “Nuclear Waste” author Richard A. Muller the main point is the danger of nuclear waste and how politics and Scientific are handling the situation. Politicians and scientists are in favor of more research to found out answers because they both share the responsibility for the nuclear waste. There are many discuss nuclear waste whether you are pro-nuke or anti-nuke and how dangerous could be. An interesting fact is that Muller claims that Colorado River water is more dangerous than storing the nuclear waste also that uranium will progressively become less radioactive.
In “Nuclear Waste” by Richard A. Muller, he expresses his concerns about radioactive material in Yucca Mountain that will be left behind for thousands of years and the unfamiliar dangers that we face. He starts by stating that nuclear waste is one of the biggest issues that our government faces even though they highly follow their “safe” nuclear waste disposal. He stresses how the government prototype nuclear waste facility at Yucca Mountain is supposed to be so safe, but they built it on a site that was created by volcanic activity. Scientist have contemplated many different ways to dispose of nuclear waste, but they all seem like the worse than their previous ideas and some still are considering more nuclear power. After his intense evaluation
In addition fracking pollutes the water. To frack you need to use a mixture of chemicals which are radioactive and large amount of water. An example of some of these chemical are lead and radium. If you are exposed to chemicals it can cause serious health issues.
Now we have much worse things like cars that leave of smog and gases like carbon monoxide and all those other gases that are led of from everywhere. They ruin our natural wonders, cause global warming and make the earth look so dirty. These gases cause deaths from premature birth, lung cancer, heart attacks, to asthma attacks. In an article by LA Times it states that, ¨Bakersfield tops the list for having the most unhealthy days from airborne particles spewed by highway traffic, diesel trucks, farm equipment and fireplaces, the American Lung Assn. 's State of the Air 2016 report
Nuclear energy does not result in the emission of any of greenhouses gases and other poisonous gases for instance, nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide. Nuclear power produces clean and compact energy with no carbon dioxide and using it is the best way to stop the global greenhouse emission causing global warming (Greenberg and Heather 820).
Air pollution pervasively impacts humanity as a global society. It results in minimized quality of life and initiates instability within the environment . Air pollution causes extensive detrimental health effects on the residents of Southern California, especially on select sensitive individuals, and has significant adverse impacts on the environment of Southern California. The health of individuals residing within the boundaries of Southern California is steadily tarnished by the destructive qualities of polluted air. The effects of air pollution on the human body over a relatively minimal amount of time are unlikely to have major effects on youthful and healthful individuals.
For this situation, people have a broad contribution to excessively polluted air since we emanate such outrageous levels of toxins that cause significant issues, for example, environmental change and ozone exhaustion. Because of our un human ways, the harmful air toxins, chemicals that shape corrosive rain and ground-level ozone has harmed trees, crops, natural life, lakes and different regions of water in Blacktown. Our transportation advances more than half of the carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides, and very nearly a quarter of the hydrocarbons released into our air. The human race has become capable of affecting Blacktown and the atmosphere that borders the Earth. Everyday in our neighbourhood, air contamination keeps us from going to work and school as it develops a large number of sicknesses through
An example of air pollution that has become more prominent in the last few years has been acid rain. Acid rain had increased the marginal social cost on the American people through its risks of a persons health, however, most people only realize the marginal social benefits that it represents, like the goods that are made, with the rain as their product. Title IV of the Clean Air Act is where we find the laws that regulate Acid Deposition, which occurs when sulfur and nitrogen emissions combined with other substances, are changed in the atmosphere and then dropped back on Earth in a form that is very harmful to a persons and the environments health. The Clean Water Act was put into place in order to create a system so that there aren 't too many pollutants released into the U.S. 's water supply and to make sure that the water is deemed as safe for Americans to use and drink from.
Nuclear energy may be the solution that eliminates our concern for energy production in the future, but it still remains a huge issue for the environment. Despite its wide use in many developed countries, nuclear energy poses many threats to both the
Intro: Water pollution has caused so many problems to our waterways that no one really knows how to help. Water pollution caused; dead zones, oil spills, garbage floating around, and unsafe drinking water. People disagree about water pollution because, people have found ways to improve and help out the problem that water pollution has caused around the world. Others believe that that water pollution has created situations and are in the process of figuring out solutions. Marine life habitats are getting destroyed, marine life is declining everyday, how and where the garbage is getting into the oceans, and the drinking water is becoming seriously unsafe to drink.
Nuclear energy is something that we`ve all heard about. It carries risk and potential. When an atom (Uranium and Plutonium in nuclear power plants) is bombarded by neutrons, it can be split, causing fission. This fission releases more neutrons, which causes a chain reaction. Nuclear power plants use this use the heat that is created by fission to heat water that spins their turbines (“Nuclear Energy”).
The environment is being polluted because of all the manure. First, the idea of what factory farming is going to be addressed. What really is a factory farm? Factory farming is an operation where over 99% of farm animals are raised, so that we can eat meat. Factory farms consist of 500 head of beef cattle, 500 dairy cows, 1,000 hogs (pigs), and 100,000 egg laying chickens.("What's Wrong With Factory Farms?"
A very good morning to my lecturer Madam Rokiah and my beloved friends. Today I would like to deliver a speech on ‘Water Pollution’. Life is dependent on water, and without water no form of life can survive. But it is hard to believe that even after knowing such a fundamental truth, how people can turn a blind eye to water pollution. Every year thousands and thousands of people, especially children, fall prey to water-borne diseases, and nearly half of them die.
• Pollution: Pollution of air, water and soil require millions of years to recoup. Industry and motor vehicles exhaust are the number one pollutants. Heavy Metals, nitrates and plastic are toxins for pollution. While water pollution is caused by oil spill, acid rain, urban runoff; air pollution is caused by various gases and toxins
There are many different types of air pollutants that are introduced into the air such as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and, nitrogen dioxide. Moreover, pollutants fall under the two categories: primary pollutants and secondary pollutants. Primary pollutants are gases or particles like intentionally emitted from human behavior, for example: vehicles exhausts emit
