Introduction
Rape is a form of sexual abuse involving sexual intercourse or any other form of sexual penetration against persons will. This can be accomplished by an act of physical force, abuse of authority or against a person who is incapable of giving consent because the person is in state of intoxication or the person has an intellectual disability or that person is minor.
The supreme court of India ha aptly described it as deathless shame and the gravest crime against human dignity. Rape is a ultimate violation of self it is not a physical assault to the victim’s body but it also shatters the victim mentally and destruct the whole personality of the victim.
