Project Abstract:
Now a days the common problem arises during reverse - parking is the fear of crash with another vehicle/obstacles nearby. Even in the presence of rear view camera. This problem occurs by learned driver as well as skilled drivers. So to overcome this problem; sensor based reverse braking system must be used. The main purpose of this kind of braking system to sense the obstacles at rear and actuate the brake for prevention purpose.

CHAPTER 1
1. Introduction
1.1 BRAKE
1.1.1 NEED OF BRAKE
The vehicle had been started, accelerated and was running on the road, which is now to be stopped. Stopping of the vehicle is as necessary as its starting. Once vehicle is started, it must be stopped somewhere. Brakes are applied on the wheels to stop the vehicle. Brake are one of the most important control component of vehicle. They are requires to stop the vehicle with in the smallest possible distance and this is done by converting kinetic energy of the vehicle in to the heat energy which is dissipated in to the atmosphere.
1.1.2 BRAKE FUNCTION
There are two main function of the brakes;
1. To stop or slow down the vehicle in the shortest possible distance in emergency.
2. To control the vehicle to be retained when …show more content…

The controller circuit includes instructions for monitoring vehicle motion and detecting an object proximate to a vehicle with at least one sensor of a reverse collision avoidance system. The controller further includes instructions for determining a collision confidence value based upon the probability of a collision between the vehicle and the object. The controller further includes instructions for determining a desired velocity profile for decelerating the vehicle to stop the vehicle prior to collision with the obstacle. This is very useful concept for automobile point of
