For instance, my mom raised me and my sister all by herself without anyone standing by her side. In addition, the government should do something to show women that they are able to do everything because sometimes those things that women can do, men are not capable of doing it, such as raising children alone. Furthermore, women’s rights are about being female than being equal with men. In Kurdistan, the laws says that women can do whatever men can. However, sometimes women do more work than men, but men do not let women to take high position jobs.
Women are also stereotyped as stay at home mothers. There is an invisible restriction put on women by men that they can’t be a mother and have a full time job at the same time. Neil French, the WPP Group PLC executive stated women “Don’t make it to the top because they don’t deserve to” and that “women are rarities in the senior corporate positions because most are unwilling to make the personal sacrifices of time and energy required to be the boss” (Maich). The words spoken by this successful male go to show the inequality faced by women every day. Women have an even harder job balancing household obligations and a job.
Women then face a great responsibility in raising their kids for the fact the she don’t have a job for her to cater their needs. That is why these women have strived for gaining equality with men. Opportunities have been held back and were taken away from them just for a fact that they are women. It is because the society sees women and regarded as just for house keep and that they are not capable of doing such manly jobs. Before the Women 's Rights reforms, American women were discriminated in society, home life, education, and the workforce. As a result of the Women 's Rights Movement, women gained the right to vote, access to higher education and opportunities to enter the workforce, overall changing the femmine life for the better. Women in the 1800s were stripped of their voice, not only were they unable to vote, they were often kept from speaking openly in public. Equality should be achievied , not only because it 's fair and it 's the right thing , but also because equality is vitally important to the productions of nations. So It cannot be denied that gender inequality in workplaces is the most negatively effective on women , because at workplaces , employees should be treated on how they work not either they 're men or women.
