REASONS FOR DROPOUT OF GIRL STUDENTS
There are a number of factors like Cultural factors, Economic factors, factors related to Educational institution and domestic factors, individual factors that influence the drop- out ratio. These factors are further divided into a number of sub-factors which can be explained as follows:
Socio- Cultural Factors Culture plays an important role for the admission of the girls in the school and in the long run for the continuation of study. In some cultures the girls are not allowed to study at the higher level because of the following reasons

A lot of researches have examined teachers ' discriminatory attitudes in the class room are linked to dropout issue. According to Njau and Wamahiu (1994) in a study on dropout rates in Sub-Saharan Africa, it was found that the foremost cause of higher rate of girls ' dropout was the attitude of teachers towards girls in class. Teachers usually favour to boys than girls in terms of academic performance and achievement which led to dropout.
School Distance School distance is an important determinant of school dropout for female students. Parents feel insecure for the safety of their children when they have to cover long distances to school. The studies by Juneja (2001) and Ainsworth et al. (2005) supported the above fact. Personal Factors These include the lack of interest on the part of parents as well as students for education that leads to low literacy level for females. The parents think the ultimate goal of woman’s life is to marry and have children as soon as possible. The parents primary interest is to marry off their daughters, education is secondary for them. The overall percentage of the boys in the academic classes are decreasing as the female success rates are increasing. Teachers and others in higher positions are slowly forgetting about the existence of boys
A case study done in India to analyze and discuss solutions for a lack in women's participation in India showed that many women do not pursue an education due to the negative cultural and social attitudes that surround educated women. It also attributes this to gender stereotyping within the classroom which discourages women from continuing with education in order to avoid the unequal treatment they receive. Society's emphasis on an early marriage also plays a major role in this as they do not want to stray from the cultural norm of marriage without an education (Singh 2018). This journal article simply emphasizes the culture’s distaste for women in education and how societal expectations make it a challenge for women to get an education. Another study was done in India that looked at the causes of gender inequality within the country attributes this mentality of the superiority of men stems directly from the lack of education amongst women.

This lack of understanding in the complexity of Jay’s learning experience reveals a greater systematic issue. Laura constantly blamed Jay’s behavior on his upbringing and labeled him as emotionally impaired. In this complex situation Laura did not look at all the possibilities for Jay’s performance in school. She had a preconceived idea of Jay’s abilities, which led her to her harsh treatment of Jay.
High School Graduation The beginning of the Highs School year,was a new experience for me,because of begin alone in the school without knowing nobody, not knowing the language and have zero knowledge of the academic level i need it to have in order to graduate, on the mid senior year of high school,i got a call from the counselor Mr.Calume,he told me that, in order to graduate i need it to pass 4 states exams that can be only due 2 times per year semester,and i was in my last semester of high school,so the chances of me passing those test were low for me. Weddings and marriages today look very different from those held during the Elizabethan times. Some rituals seen in the Elizabethan weddings are no longer done in modern day weddings; modern day marriages no longer have arranged marriages, brides do not marry at a young age, and brides do not have a dowry. One major aspect of Elizabethan weddings that is no longer seen in modern day weddings is arranged marriages. Some of the arranged marriages that went on during this time were organized at the birth of the child. In most cases, the women’s father would select the man he thought was most eligible for his daughter, but in other cases he would select the spouse he would most benefit from.
The newly changed law that high schoolers can’t skip college and go pro is thought to be changed in the future. Residential Schools was an enormous lengthening event in our history. Residential schools were to assimilate and integrate white people’s viewpoints and values to First Nations children. The schools were ran by white nuns and white priests to get rid of the “inner Indian” in the children.
