To most people, a hero is one who possesses the powerful traits that seem to move the hearts of hundreds of people. Such traits include: helpfulness, the key to building other’s trust in you and your motives, leadership, the trait that helps one to use their intellect and common sense to make smart decisions and lead others responsibly and positively, and care, the way to accumulating countless friends and followers through one’s kindness, concern, and philanthropy for other people. Everyday I strive my hardest to give others a positive example of my hero: my father, Patrick Sekerka. While the concept of “helpfulness” can be misunderstood, it goes without saying that my father is truly a helpful man. He is always there and willing to help other people.
He always took good care of the people in his army and would always forgive them for their mistakes as long as he was assured that they were not disloyal to him. According to Havel, “his engaging personality, artist temperament, and romantic career make him one of the most attractive figures in the history of Islam.”
Right and wrong were always apart of Hamilton’s life. He believed that the constitution was designed to be loosely interpreted, but here was a whole lot more he did right (Clemens p.7 ). Alexander wanted to make a strong national government that would succeed throughout the length of the world. Hamilton’s beliefs were a big part of the reason why Hamilton was a big successor throughout his lifetime. Alexander Hamilton had a very big perspective on each individual and things he did.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. played a major role in the American civil rights movement. He was a “social activist” and a “Baptist minister” known for his kind deeds that also won him a “Nobel Peace Prize”. (Carson, n.d.) Dr. King was a successful leader in many ways and has proven to be an example of a good leader through his leadership qualities and good deeds for the society. He always believed in equality and never put himself before his followers or never had motives behind his actions. Martin Luther King came from a middle-class family and still managed to become a leader and an inspiration for million others.
There were times when my parents spoiled me but I was always taught to be thankful of the things that I had and to not be so selfish. Having two other siblings helped me prevent the want of being selfish. I do not know what I would do without my family. My family is very inspiring because they show me all aspects on how I should live my life through their experiences like education, parenting, and work ethic. My family’s past experiences also teach me how to live my life the best way possible.
My hero in my life was my grandfather Colin James Hean he was a manager who worked for Engen repairing their pipes and tanks. My grandfather has sadly passed away, but the impact he had on people he had on people was massive during his life and his legacy still is remembered by those who knew him well. My grandfather had a positive impact on many different people because of his positive people and humorous personality he made all his friends and family happy and see the positive and upside of life. The impact he had on people was seen at his funeral where hundreds of people attended from different races and different parts of life where all came to pay respect to his legacy The source of his power was his kind hearted personality were he often looked after people by consoling them and always helping whenever he could thus his power and leadership came from his loyalty to people where he built mutual respect over years of friendship. I found my grandfather hugely inspiring because he made everyone around him happier, he was a positive influence in everyone’s life.
Characters The characters that I liked and that stood out to me was Rafael, Gil, Father Hidalgo, and Simon. Rafael is one of the characters that stood out to me because of how much he loved his people, the village, and his family that he was willing to sacrifice himself to save others. Rafael is a very sacrificial and a very brave person because he sacrificed himself to save his brother, Simon and also his son, Joaquinito. He was accepted by most people in the village and everyone trusted him to be the barrio of it. Gil was another character that I liked the most because he was very charming
Having compassion has good and bad moments but I honestly am glad that I have it because I love caring for people. I love helping them get back to how they use to be it touches me a lot. In the work places it takes a lot more then professionalism and compassion to do your job correctly and positively it takes determination, dedication, risk and love. I choose those characteristics because you must love your job and love it knowing that they are a risk of catching and infectious diseases etc. You must be dedicated and determined to help those who truly are sufficient and understand that you are the reason they do feel better or why they will.
We love as a community, as friends, as family, and as partners. As a community we love simply by caring, and we share what we have, we give to charity, we volunteer at homeless shelters we do what we can. We just simply help out. Loving as friends takes the meaning of love to another level. Friendships can last forever or they can last three days, all it takes is a little love and hard work to stay friends for a lifetime.
I’ve always been healthy, loved, and lived in comfort. The kindness I’ve felt so often makes me want to pay it forward; I want nothing more than for everyone to have the opportunities I’ve had. Even though I have not walked in the shoes of incredible adversity, my deep-rooted desire to improve lives is what makes me a humanitarian. I am certain that, like Terry Fox, I will dedicate the rest of my life to serving those in
