Silviculture is one of the skill in managing the establishment and composition of the forests area, growing of the trees and quality of forests to meet diverse needs and values. This kind of silviculture also focused on the important of doing the treatment of forest stands which are needed in preservation and the productivity of the forests will be upgraded, so that it can be more in good condition than usual. But, in generally, silviculture is known as science and art of growing and tending forest crops. This silviculture will be applied at the stand level to some of the distinct between forestry and silviculture. This kind of method more embattled because it is truly call viable silviculture practice. It is mostly prescribed for the future timber; it shows that the desirable happen on species that receive more sunlight. Then, it also will be used in poor-quality area or species that has a problem stands such as forest fire or repeated in high rank. In tropical forest management, seedlings is the one step of clear cutting. Clear cutting has its own advantage and also have disadvantage. For advantage, it is the best regeneration for shad intolerance species and also be the best among converting an area to a different species. Besides, the advantages of clear cutting also give an economical way to regenerate needing fire as part of its management. But for disadvantage of clear cut may cause short-term erosion problems such as landslides. As the conclusion, this silviculture method can help in managing tropical forest sustainability such as by using the limitation clear cutting, it can open up a land for planting a new trees without create any damage that can caused by other logging
