Air pollution pervasively impacts humanity as a global society. It results in minimized quality of life and initiates instability within the environment. Air pollution causes extensive detrimental health effects on the residents of Southern California, especially on select sensitive individuals, and has significant adverse impacts on the environment of Southern California. The health of individuals residing within the boundaries of Southern California is steadily tarnished by the destructive qualities of polluted air. The effects of air pollution on the human body over a relatively minimal amount of time are unlikely to have major effects on youthful and healthful individuals. Some other negative impacts of air pollution on the residents of southern California include a variety of temporary symptoms such as difficulty breathing, headaches, runny noses, and itchy eyes, as well as the development of more severe and chronic ailments such as heart disease and asthma. Asthma is one of the most prominent health issues that air pollution incites within the human body. It is highly probable that Asthma is a direct result of air pollution, although absolute evidence has not as of yet been provided to support this idea. More substantial evidence has, however, expressed the magnification of asthma that air pollution initiates within those that are already afflicted with the disease. It is possible for the negative impacts of air pollution to spread throughout the entire body, damaging a variety of organs and body parts, while diminishing the body’s ability to effectively function.
