If more aggressive cooling techniques are used to reach its critical temperature then it is low temperature superconductor.
• By material: Superconductor material types include chemical elements, alloys, ceramics or organic superconductors.

5. Elementary properties of superconductors

Physical properties of superconductors depend upon the underlying material and vary from material to material, such as the heat capacity and the critical temperature, critical field, and critical current density at which superconductivity is destroyed.

There is also a class of properties that are independent of the material. For example, when there is no magnetic field present or if the applied field does not exceed a critical value.

The existence of these "universal" properties implies that superconductivity is a thermodynamic phase & as a result it possesses certain distinguishing properties that all superconductors have exactly 0 resistivity to low applied currents.

Type-I & Type-II superconductors
Superconductors are divided into two types. They are divided depending upon their behaviour when placed in an external magnetic field.
1) Type I superconductors
2) Type II superconductors

6. TYPE-1
