Everyone knows you need to prepare to answer some tough questions at the job interview. But you might be missing a trick if you’re also not preparing to ask some questions. I also need to work on my body language whenever conducting interviews in the future. Sometimes I found it hard to maintain eye contact, thus I would look away or take notes versus sit there and listen. In the future, I will only take notes when appropriate and work on maintaining approach body language that allows the client to feel the most comfortable as possible. I also believe that everyone could always be just a bit more self-aware, thus I will work improving my self-awareness and ability to really understand where the client is coming from. They would be wearing very short shorts, crop tops, etc. You might also have bullying from people because of the way someone wants to dress. With a dress code people have less of a chance of being bullied because you don't have the chance of being called out for wearing really short shorts or a shirt that shows too much. Itâ€TMs important to remain professional to show you are taking the situation seriously showing respect to the person you are taking to and giving them reassurance and gaining their trust in you. There will be written communication more with adults & this needs to be kept professional, language appropriate. We must avoid using silly pictures on messages. A smiley face at the end would be seen as very unprofessional! Making sure, especially with children, that we have understood them correctly.
Sometimes, young adults go to interviews poorly dressed or untidy, and do not receive the job. However, rules for how to dress would teach adolescents early on for how to correctly dress. Without the knowledge of how to correctly dress, girls with go into interviews with messy dresses and boys will go in with untidy hair. However, a dress code will allow teachers to explain the importance of dressing well. Uncomfortable clothing is extremely helpful in keeping learners attentive.
I prepped a lot for my Mock interview by doing the notes in class, but also by going home and practicing. The notes that we had to take in class informed me with a lot of information that I did know, and also information I did not know. For an example, I did not know that you are not supposed to wear perfume. I always thought the better you smell the better impression you will make, but that is not true when it comes to an interview for a job. Another thing I did not know was that you should send the person that interviewed you a thank you letter.
