1. Experts suggest that you dress professionally for a telephone interview even though the interviewer can’t see you. Do you agree that this is important? Why or why not? I agree with the experts suggestion on dressing professionally for a telephone interview even though the interviewer can’t see you because you have to dress the part. Even though you are home you have to take the interview serious and just as you would do it in person. Dressing up can change the tone of your voice. For example, a prince won’t act like a prince if she is in a t shirt and shorts but if she was to be in a dress she is more likely to act more of a princess.

The interviewer has less control through the use of a phone interview due to able to see to the interviewee’s expressions to tell if what they are saying is actually true and the phone interview can happen at any time, interrupting sleep or a meal. Limited complexities of questions because the average phone interview is about 10 minutes and leaves open-ended questions out the window because they require a great amount of detail and you are in short amount of time. A way to overcome these disadvantages would be for the interviewee have any questions they have for the interviewer on a notepad and practice their response for any questions the interviewer may have. Interviewee should ask or set a window for when they can be reached in order to the interview and not be bombarded by a

The agency I did my interview at is called Safe Alternatives For Everyone(SAFE). On the morning of Friday April 28th, I took a tour of the facility and conducted the interview at 28910 Pujol St Temecula, CA. (951) 587-3900. The funny thing is this facility is located on the street that I would take my dog for a walk and I would always see the facility, but I wasn’t curious as to what that building was about.
We were in Palm Spring on the weekend of November 21 for the swim meet. For my Ethnographic Project, I decided to interview one of my daughter’s swim friend’s mom and my friend, Linyun. We talked about it before and the meet was the best place for this interview. She is approximately 45 years old lady, married with an Indian-American guy. Her back round of culture is Chinese and she is from Taiwan.
From my family, my parents, my sister and a few uncles are undocumented. The majority of my uncles got lucky when they came to the U.S. because when they came around the late or early 1980s they were granted residency. On the other hand, if my dad would have come earlier maybe he would have become a citizen as well. My dad came to the U.S. earlier than my mother and sister. When he got help and collected the money to crossed the border, all my uncles lived in the same apartment at South Gate.
Women are still contesting with what to wear in the workplace. Finding the balance of professionalism and still being feminine is a hard one to come by. You don’t want your heels too high, skirt too short, top too low cut, but you also can’t just wear a suit like a man can. “A man has a uniform, he knows what to wear, when,” she said. “A woman has a disarray of clothing choices, so there is more of a chance that they won’t be able to project credibility through their image.
Introduction Motivational interviewing is a collaborative, person-centred form of communication which focuses on the language of change. ‘It is designed to strengthen personal motivation for and commitment to a specific goal by eliciting and exploring the person’s own reasons for change within an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion’ (Miller et al., 2013, p.29). The technique of motivational interviewing was developed by two psychologists, Bill Miller and Steve Rollnick. Motivational interviewing is therapeutic to patients as it is based on a partnership, rather than a nurse-patient relationship (Heckman et al., 2010). There are four processes of motivational interviewing; engaging, focusing, evoking and planning.
I 've learned while conducting these interviews that both indivuials have similar issues within the healthcare system. one of the biggest issues both interviewees faces was the cost of healthcare and health insurance coverage. One of the interviewees has a chronic illness, and at times has to decide if she wants to purchase her needed medication or to buy groceries for herself and her family. The other interviewee although employed, doesn 't have health insurance coverage because its too costly every month. it seems they 're both appreciative of the fact there is a somewhat healthcare system with health care providers and professionals available to them, but feels its only available if you have health insurance coverage.
Holding an RHA position requires a plethora of skills in leadership, personal balance, academic balance, professional balance, and communication. Currently I am seeking a future in the Resident Assistant (RA) positon which will allow me to learn and utilize these skills when providing conflict resolution and creating relationships within my hall. In order to get a better understanding of many different aspects that go into being an RA, I interviewed a current RA named Bayleigh____ and asked her about the several different factors that relate to her personal life and the job itself. She explained her position and how it directly affected her life as a student as well as the personal challenges she faced regularly. The interview provided me with

The clothes you wear reflect your personality as it speaks much about who you are and how you do business. For example, wearing a perfect fit suit would be more appropriate
