“Why is it crucial as a student to learn about cultural competency”? The reason is due to the increasing cultural diversity in the United States. This increasing cultural diversity in the United States has resulted in the national health objective proposed in Healthy People 2020: achieving the highest level of health for all people by addressing societal inequalities and “historical and contemporary injustices” (Giddens, 2013, pp. 33). The belief is that all people deserve quality health care and access to care no matter what culture the individual may be.
Illegal logging is still a rising problem, because those doing so are not having to pay taxes on sales to other countries, and this is taking away from all wood sellers in the Honduras community. It becomes impossible for any legal wood companies to sell, because other countries are able to buy it much cheaper illegally. So, the economy is declining as the illegal logging business goes up and the people are highly affected by the unsafe rural regions they are left to live
When considering my application my hope is that I have made myself transparent that I fully understand what this responsibility will entail. The American Chiropractic Association’s mission statement clearly states to “preserve, protect, improve and promote the chiropractic profession and the services of Doctors of Chiropractic for the benefit of patients they serve”. This Mission can only be reached if the treating professionals truly believe and understand the gravity of this responsibility. I am conscious to the landscape of legislation that surrounds the Chiropractic industry and hope to shed light on to the many benefits that can be gained by cooperation between the industry and government for the benefit of the patient. I have always
Mercy Behavioral Health is committed to empowering individuals and families to overcome barriers and to lead healthy and successful lives the community. Guided by the tradition, mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Behavioral Health’s non-discrimination action plans states that all services are provided without discrimination and provide equal employment opportunities. I am thrill to see that the plan extends to equality and justice to other minorities, outside racial groups, such as the aged and disabled. I value that Pittsburgh Mercy Health care is individualized and the affirmative action illustrates that. Individualized health care, and methods to mandate equality in agencies is vital tool to improve the health of all Americans.
For example, our government works every day to keep us safe from harm. Whether it’s the police, FBI, or military, we know that justice will be established for all accounts of terror, legal wrongdoing, or even house burglary. we know we can count on our country’s lawmaking and law enforcing to keep us out of substantial harm. Also, our government, whether it is city, state, or federal, provides us with the public necessities for becoming a thriving community and nation. With certain help like community recreational facilities, schools, airports, and parks, to even the little stuff like fire hydrants, light posts, and roads, our government funds these to better us as a whole.

With UDL being a guided principle in special education, students with severe disabilities are able to access the general education curriculum, engage with regular education peers, and are regarded as respected individuals in the their schools and community. As quoted by the President’s Commission on Excellence in Special Education “Leaving no child behind…means leaving no children with disability behind” (Coyne, Pisha, Dalton, Zeph, & Smith, 2012). The National center on Universal Design for Learning defines their framework as “The term UNIVERSAL DESIGN FOR LEARNING means a scientifically valid framework for guiding educational practice that:(A) provides flexibility in presentation, how students respond or demonstrate knowledge and skills, and in also student
Subsistence farming is used in the Central African Republic to make ends meet. However, this becomes very difficult because of the extreme dry weathers where an excess of sun kills a majority of the crops and results in corn that that is not sufficient for the people in CAR. Some instances in CAR even went to an extent that families had been forced to sell their possessions and pull children out of school and resort to begging in order to gain an income to feed the families of CAR. To worsen the problem, the conflict between Christians and the Muslim minority forced 600000 people to move to other parts of the country. The production of crops is now 54% lower than pre-crisis levels.
This influence can help us eliminate racial violence, crimes, and improper care. This country is home to the free, and everyone is born as an equal individual. Therefore, we must push for advocates in the health care field to transform their departments to fit an equal based lifestyle. Equality in America has been a pressing issue since slavery. Slavery is only an example for the racial injustice, inequality, and hardship in the United States.
Introduction • Universal Health Coverage Universal health care, also known as universal health coverage (UHC). It is to ensure all people can access the health services without suffering financial hardship. There are many developed countries have implemented UHC because they want to “continue to have both public and private insurance and medical providers”. (Praveenghanta, 2009). For example, the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) has introduced UHC to India’s Government in 2005.
I completely agree with the programs that LEP students are entitled to in addition to ESOL, as they are provided to ensure equality in educational opportunities. Undoubtedly, I will apply the FL Consent Decree in my classroom because it protects students against discrimination while promoting justice for all students regardless of one’s native

Today, the American people are fortunate to have many agencies equipped with resources to service communities across the country. Many of these agencies protect the health and wellbeing of the people providing healthcare and affordable drug coverages. Some these agencies are the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Agency for Healthcare Resources
