You are driving down the highway and you get a text message, you pick up your cell phone for a quick second to read and reply to the text and then all of a sudden, your car crashes. There are a large number of people that drive with having there phone in their hand. Those people do not understand that whatever is happening on that phone can most likely wait. I can only imagine how many car accidents there are everyday due to drivers taking their eyes off of the road for their cell phone. I agree with the law of making it illegal to drive while using a handheld cell phone because it is dangerous for you and the drivers around you and also you can find a solution so that you will not have to use your cell phone while driving. Obeying all signs, doing the proper speed limit, staying in their lane and so on. You could be looking down at your phone not noticing the light has turned red and run into the side of the proper driver's car. That situation could've been prevented if you were focused on the road and aware of your surroundings. In conclusion, you can help your life and others if you keep your eyes on the road. Second, there are many solutions for drivers so they will not have to actually use their cell phone in there hand when they are behind the wheel. For instance, my father is a very busy man and uses his cell phone a lot. My father also has a job that requires him to drive around the town in order to service his customers. However, he found a very helpful solution that allows him to still use his phone without actually touching it. He connected his phone to a blue tooth in his car so that way when his customers call him while he is driving, he can communicate with them through a small microphone and his car speakers. Therefore, he can still use his phone while driving and still drive safe. In conclusion, if you are a person that uses your phone a lot and absolutely has to, find a safer way to
