Water pollution is one of the most irritating problems that are causing nightmares and headaches to scientists around the world. It is commonly known as anything that could affect the water and leads to bad consequences, which prevents society from water benefits. Causes, effects and solutions of water pollution are the main topics that will be covered in this report. With sufficient thoughts about finding causes for water pollution, it is easy to come up with plenty of causes. Generally, chemical waste occurs from other activities, such as industrial waste, which has been mentioned previously, agricultural work and petroleum in the picture of oil spills. Oil spills can affect the species living in the oceans, which will eventually be harmful to humans by eating them and may cause them serious diseases. On the other hand, chemical waste is divided into two categories, organic and inorganic substances. Slaughter houses remnants and meat canning factories are examples of organic pollutants, mercury is one example of inorganic pollutants where it is being increased in concentration by battery manufactures and paper mills, which will lead to harmful consequences and threatens the lives of many human beings by poisoning the water. Municipal: The last cause of water pollution is the municipal. Although it is not as important as the previous two causes, but it is a must to put it under the spotlights in order to educate the people. Homes and commercial establishments are the reasons why the municipal is related to waste water. Decreasing the harmful bacteria from wastewater is the main aim for the municipal. After highlighting the major causes of water pollution, microbiological, groundwater, oxygen depletion and nutrients is a brief list of some other causes of this issue maybe the appropriate way to end up this
