We all know that transportation plays a major role in facilitating travel, trade and exchange. It enables someone or something to be able to go to one place to another. Transportation also helps people to reach places faster and easier—assisting people with their time-issues, and doing so with ease. We can also say that transportation may perhaps be the key to survival. This may sound over-the-top, yet the simple act of moving someone or something from one point to another is absolutely vital. In order to maintain a functioning economy, people must be able to circulate between different points that are significant to them. In pre-history times, most people go around by foot, horse or small boats. The distances travelled were small and trips were few in number.
