REVISIONING CURRICULA IN TRIBAL RESIONS INTRODUCTION Education is considered as a key indicator of human development and progress. Education in tribal regions assumes significance because of its low literacy level and poor ranking in education index as per their life hood. This reveals the educational backwardness of the tribes. The informal section of education- the government organizations which are engaged in catering to the needs of the marginalized who don’t have access to formal education.
