Immigrants have become a relevant topic as well with racism and unfair treatment, but even so things have begun being more pessimistic, and the overall feeling is not extremely focused on Latinos, but everyone as a whole. Texas government and history have deep roots with the spanish and while many people see this in the cities, and the culture that is predominantly hispanic there are still issues that come up daily. Nonetheless the progress that has been achieved is commendable, and Latinos have truly gone a long way despite that things still could be better. Technology has come a long way, from delivery messages by horse to just picking up a cell phone. Technology is becoming a major role in all aspect of our modern lives. Typically, the effects of technology can be seen in economics around the world. Advances in technology can be linked to increases in manufacturing that affect the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and creating jobs to help lower unemployment. While a lot of technological advances are in regards to process improvement like industrialization that seems to eliminate unskilled positions, technology helps produce other skill positions that offer higher pay and better opportunities.
The similarities between generations allow for immigrants to create a unified identity as a culture while residing in a different nation. Both a mother and daughter’s identities are reliant on one another, and strengthening this bond through shared memories allows for a mother or daughter to establish a relatable and strong set of racial values. An immigrant faces many obstacles when coming to a new country. Oftentimes, an immigrant struggles to establish an identity, as they feel they are caught in the middle of two cultures- one of their new home and ancestors, and one of their retrospective abode. In order to resolve this matter, one must bolster their sense of self as a person of a racial minority.
Race is seen as a cultural construct because it is both socially interpreted and shaped. Typically culture can be culturally constructed from one culture to another. Therefore, defining the term race in the United States can be extremely different in another country, because it is altered by one’s personal cultural and social view. For example, people from a certain culture may show interest in particular beliefs, ideas, and customs because of their cultures. Culture is about learning how a certain group of people are by sharing ideas, beliefs, and values.
Topic: Politics in Trinidad and Tobago The topic of politics in Trinidad and Tobago is one that need major concern at its present standing. Most inhabitants in this country (Trinidad and Tobago) are not familiar with how political debates are supposed to be orchestrated. Politicians are supposed to talk about the issues an ways to overcome them using hard work and determination not just saying “choose me and I will give you this” and “choose me and I will give u that”. They are supposed to state a topic, state the issues of the said topic, state the reasons why it’s an issue, and how it became one and last state how they can be fixed/how you intend to fix them to last over a period of time.
