Explanation of the term Healthy Lifestyle: A healthy lifestyle is part of someone’s life to keep their health pristine. This involves a healthy diet, consisting the accurate amounts of different food types, exercise, on a daily basis, and a good amount of sleep every day. All together makes the body less stressed, and reduces the risks of getting any fata sicknesses. Finally, to make sure this stays, is to keep away from unhealthy habits, such as smoking, junk food, and alcohol. Find 2 diseases that could come from an unhealthy lifestyle: Diseases can occur due to a person’s unhealthy lifestyle, for example, a person can be diagnosed with diabetes, which is caused by non-regular exercise basis that can turn someone into being insulin sensitivity. Another disease that is related to an unhealthy lifestyle includes the heart, which can be caused by lack of exercising and poor dieting. Find out and explain what kind of nutrients there are and which do you need. There are 6 main essential nutrients; they are, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and water. Carbohydrates are sugars which are the body’s main source of energy, they can either be simple or complex both with the same purpose of providing the body energy. Decide on what activity which will be the most enjoyable for yourself, if you can’t enjoy your fitness training you will most likely be too lazy and discourage to not do the working out. Make an exercise plan that you yourself can follow and the workouts you have listed actually causes benefits to certain body parts. And carbohydrates causes our muscles to function as well. Carbohydrates is the body's preferred source of energy. They can range from complex carbohydrates to be similar carbohydrates.
The base of the food pyramid consists of a generous amount of healthy and nourishing foods that contains small number of calories in great volumes of food basically, vegetables and fruits. Healthy selections in moderate amounts, with a great focus on whole-grain carbohydrates, lean sources of protein such as legumes, fish and low-fat dairy, and heart-healthy unsaturated fats make up the rest of the pyramid. You can use the pyramid to select the right kinds of food in correct amounts.
Proper health can also help with increasing lifespan, wellbeing, and reduces stress. Some of the requirements to being healthy include eating a balanced diet, getting proper exercise, and favorable social conditions. The last point in the previous sentence, favorable social conditions, is a must. I view the gym as a very reliable place to work out, but I also believe gym’s are boring and provide a disadvantage for athlete because the athletes do not become accustomed to the heat or the cold. I believe lifting weights can be an important activity in sports that are more physical, but I personally find lifting weights extremely boring. If you’ve ever tried to follow nutrition news, then you know that recommendations change all the time. Foods that were once labeled as good for you can, for example, can suddenly be red flagged, and the food you were taught to avoid can all of a sudden be good for you. With all these mixed reviews going around, sticking to a healthy diet plan can be really challenging, which make sense right? It will also make you question the advice you’re receiving from experts, who, like the weather, appear to be changing their views regularly.
Based on my data for my daily intake of foods, I would say that I live a pretty healthy life. I went over the food groups and calories, nutrients, food details and meal summary of my food diary and I thought it was interesting to look at all the little details of the different foods I ate throughout the day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. If I had to set 5 goals to improve my nutrition in what I eat and how I keep myself healthy I would have to say for the first one, exercise more, the second one choose healthier meal options, third one eat more throughout the day, fourth one choose healthier snacks, and for the last one do not eat when bored. I try to exercise as much as I can when I have free time, but it is sometimes hard to find some free time.
