EXERCISE BEHAVIOUR
INTRODUCTION-
We are required to interview two people about their exercise behavior in two ways: a. questionnaire and b. unstructured. We have to prepare one structured questionnaire for exercise and the other method I have taken under the unstructured approach is the face to face interview.

A. QUESTIONNAIRE (Structured Approach)-
Structured approach are formal and standardized and the choice of alternative answers is restricted which also helps in reducing confusion of the respondent while answering the questions.

Do you have any medical problems for which you are exercising? o Yes o No
A. UNSTRUCTURED APPROACH-
In the unstructured approach we directly communicate with the respondent and get the results. This is a good way of gathering data as it provides flexibility and a broader perspective to the interviewer. There are many ways of conducting the unstructured survey like telephonic interview, face to face interview, mail interview, etc. The method I have adopted to interact is Face to face interview. Face to face is a direct and very good attempt to get valid & reliable results as we can also observe the respondent’s reaction while answering the questions.
The questions I asked while having face to face interview were the same which I have included in the questionnaire but in a detailed manner. I was able to ask some more questions related to the previously asked question and thus could gather more detailed information. I observed the verbal & non-verbal behavior of the respondents and was able to obtain personal information of the respondent.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BOTH METHODS-
Interviews are very different from questionnaires. Unstructured approach involves more interaction whereas questionnaire involves

43.33% of individuals were also participating in moderate to vigorous activities such as walking or a more vigorous activity, but only 10% of individuals were participating in only vigorous activities. 2. 10 points: Briefly describe the total group’s behavior and then specifically for males and females. What was the most prominent activity you observed? Based on the location where you conducted your observations and the information you gathered; what are some of the reasons that contributed to these activity levels?

16. Exercise Okay, so it might not be busy to fit in exercise while you’re at work but don’t panic just yet. Just get up and stretch your legs around the office and work in a stretch or two. If you can get a private spot you can throw in some jumping jacks and a few pushups, too.
1) First three weeks, I exercise at least 3 hours a week. For cardiovascular exercise, I will walk for 10 minutes and lightly jog for 20 minutes in each 30 minute session. For muscle training, I will use weights from1 to 5 pounds and do 5 sets of 10 repetitions. 2) From week 4 to 6, I exercise at least 3.5 hours a week.
Self-introduction. Almost every one of us are so busy chasing our dream. Thinking about what we wish to have. But does anyone of you really thought about your personal health.
For my naturalistic observation assignment I’m going to be walking around campus smiling at everyone that I pass by. Then I’m going to observe how many males and females smile back at me. Smiling at people is something that’s natural to me, I do it all the time. I usually smile at the people I walk by without even looking at them. What I never did is observe how many people smile back at me, or if there’s a sex difference in smiling.
The exercise lessons usually last a minimum of 40 minutes, it would include a 5-minute warm-up, 30-minute workout, and 5-minute cool down. This is only the minimum the participants have to do, so better overall results can be shown if the participants do more than the bare-minimum. The subjects had their own choices to perform aerobic exercise: stationary cycling, elliptical stepping, treadmill or track running/walking, stair stepping, rowing, or arm ergometry (Sailors et al, 2010). The staff members of this study recorded exercise mode for every session by observing and documenting the data using a handheld computer. TIGER even decided to partner up with CSI Software to make it possible to provide an online activity-logging program where the subjects were able to record exercise preformation outside of the original class time.
INTRODUCTION: Attention Step: According to the article “Exercise Makes You Younger,” “Research shows that physical inactivity can cause premature death as well as chronic disease and disability" (54). Establish Need/Relevance: Nowadays technology and busy work schedules have prevented many people from including exercise into their daily activities. Many people think that it is too time consuming and rather not work
Topic Proposal: Prescription Exercise before Prescription Medication Advances in technology and in the medical field are bringing a new round of problems, unnecessary risks. In the last five years, physicians have taken an alternative route to prescription medication. Normal medications come with many side effects which then have to be treated with more medication.
