True leadership, although motivational, will not always follow the trend of culture. Rather, an upright leader will stand up against the flow of culture to pursue what is right and in aspiration of others desiring to join. With this definition of a leader, I believe it is important to emphasize that a true and upright leader will not always have the greatest amount of followers. However, an upright leader will inspire and pursue what is right. The act of upright leadership is not always popular, but it will pursue the purest cause. Since I felt so lonely in my past, I wished to do anything I could to show God’s love to others in hopes of them not feeling lonely. Although no one else at that time was aspiring to love others, I decided to sacrifice my own social gain in hopes of truly loving others. I hope that after the past two in a half years that people have found hope and have seen love through my instant of leading by example against the flow of culture. Some of my friends have shared with me how I made an impact in their life because of the love and time I put into them by loving them. Through hearing their stories, I have seen the power sacrificial love has. I know that there will always be lonely people, but I aspire to make an impact on the lives of the lonely people. Since I know what it is like to be lonely, I honestly desire to bring others into my group of friends and accept them as one of us. I know that this passion will follow me wherever I go, even when I have wanted to pursue my own agenda of social progression, I will be distracted by a lonely individual whom I desire to help feel
