Violent Media Effect on Kids Violent media is one of the major problem .in the world today especially to the parents and teacher. It has increase worried that violent media exposure may have a development effect on children. For example, parents have a fear that children expose to violent media will usually grow up to be violent themselves. However in this case Gerard Jones argue that “violent media is good for kids”, he believes that exposure to violent media will build strong courage and have a good effect in society. He also bring in other aspect that it had a good effect on the reader of his stories. He also appeal to ethos when he mention his son use violence media to increase his confidence and become brave enough to climb a tree at school. He also made a strong point that he trust so much in violent stories could potentially have a strong effect of violent and dangerous behavior. I believe sheltering children from violent media with the fear of them becoming violent or desensitized is the wrong thing to do but we should educate our children on the difference between right or wrong then exposing them to something that fake
