Confidence is one of the requirements to be a leader. When the person is confident and he acts as he is in the right place, then that one gets trust and respect from his followers. As a leader you have the duty to both care from your workers and care for the task at hand. A good leader doesn’t solely care about the workers or solely care about the task. A good leader finds a natural balance between the two. A leader must do whatever is possible to best motivate the workers and get the most out of them. The workers should understand that there is a task at hand to complete, however it is the leader’s responsibility to ensure the workers “buy into” the task and understand the importance of its success.

There are many traits that are needed to be applied when being a leader. Traits including confidence, courage, positivity, and many more are needed in order to be considered a good leader. A leader also needs to spread a positive message to people. They need to be someone who can be responsible and trusted by a large group of people. This generation and generations to come, learn from the previous leaders, as to not make their mistakes.
They say some people are natural born leaders. My parents used to say I was one of them as a young child but really I just liked to be in charge. It wasn’t until I started to hold leadership roles in school such as student council and work at my piano studio that I realized a good leader is so much more. Good leaders not only see the big picture of how to get from point A to point B but they also inspire, communicate, and delegate to achieve the best results from a given group of people. The more experience I receive in leadership roles, the more comfortable I become in that role, realizing that I really enjoy leading a group and plan to utilize these skills for the rest of my life.
