Youth football is a sport that is played in various places, many people think that it is not dangerous and kids should be able to play, while others think that this sport is too dangerous and should not be played. Based off of all the evidence that I have found through research, it has let me to agreeing with the fact that youth football is too dangerous for young children to be playing. This sport has pros to it, some of which are very good, but the con side outways it with extraordinary pieces of evidence, these are the things showing that this sport is not to be played at this age and overall. There are a few pieces of evidence and facts that show proof of why it is dangerous and why this can’t be stopped. Some of the reasons are very serious, such as CTE which is a brain disease caused by rapid hits to the brain, this has lifetime affects and changes you in many ways, in worst cases this can even cause death. Although that is one of the worst things that can happen there is still many others like concussions which last long, Alzheimer’s disease, also minor characteristics like depression and headaches all linking to lifetime affects. This is because they have the pads on and think nothing will happen, but at home and school it makes them more violent, there have been about 3.5 million injuries in youth football in the past years. Of course other sports have many injuries as well, but many of the football injuries happen because of rapid hits to the head which other sports are not like that at all almost. Although death is very rare in sports, almost all of them happen from the exact thing that football does to you, brain injuries. You never know how your kid will react to these
