If we had late start every day then the school would have to push back sports. People would also have to quit sports or not be able to play as much if they were doing out of school sports. Also people wouldn’t be able to do as much after school. Kids would also wait last minute to do homework. The School would have to end school later in the day so we would still be at school for the same amount of time.
Everyday, kids around the world get to run outside and play, but middle schoolers don’t get to. They have to sit inside and work really hard. Middle schoolers need recess. They need recess because it helps them concentrate during class, it helps stop childhood obesity, and it helps them feel accepted. In this paragraph, it will show how recess helps kids concentrate during class.
Furthermore they will push you keeping you awake and activating your body reflexes of tighten your muscles to push that weight or tighten your calves quicker to help your sprints. After all they help you in multiple parts of your life they can also help your memory during a test so they are helpful there to keep you awake during the test and help you remember the material that you are try to learn.
Playing multiple sports has healthy and safety benefits. Movement and practice in different activities will allow you to strengthen different muscles groups and reduce the full time strain and potential overuse of muscles associated with one sport. The factors can decrease the risk of injuries in young athletes. By playing multiple sports your body learns how to move and function in different ways. “Playing different sports teaches your body to move in different ways and reinforces competitiveness.”(Watt paragraph 4).
Once again, another reason students with gum will go above and beyond with it is it has the ability to releive stress and anxiety. Research has shown that chewing on a piece of gum can releive stress and anxiety and increase alertness and blood flow in the brain. This is perfect for school because it can help in more ways than
You would think it’s helping with their situation, that it’s changing their perspective while helping them find ways it could have been solved, but some kids don’t think of the solution in the blink of an eye. When kids get suspended, all they’re thinking about is a few days off from school. But not anymore, even though some kids may rethink the dilemma they had gotten themselves into, most of the times that’s not the case. Here are a few things that happen when we suspend kids, and a few things that would be helpful instead of suspending these children. When children are suspended over and over, they are most likely to drop out.
If the player does not take the allotted amount of time off, symptoms become prolonged or worse. These symptoms include headache, sensitivity to light, memory difficulty, and difficulty concentrating (Davidson, Atkins, and Longe). These symptoms can be shortened if the player does not return in the game before being cleared to play, however parents and coaches push their kids or players to get back into the game even after a massive hit. This is bad for their brain and can affect their work in school, and can inflict neurological damage for the
Premature aging signs are usually evident even to the young due to stress. And problems like impaired vision, grey hair, wrinkling skin are signs of unhealthy brain. Even though they can be solved by having a better diet and physical exercise but the problem usually lies in the brain, especially due to stress. This can be solved by taking a Nootropic stack, they assist in calming the nerves, making feel relaxed and “fresh” always. A good example is Noopept stack, usually given to astronauts during stressful and long mission, in order to keep them fresh and relaxed for
You will be able to learn quicker because your growing mind haven't fully developed. That being the case, your brain is still malleable. Learning to drive while you are still young makes driving at an older age less difficult. This would also prevent many accidents that could occur. In the not so distant future, the amount of accidents would triple due to the amount of adults attempting to learn what an adolescent should.
After recess all the kids will be tired recess is supposed to be a time to run around and get tired to use their energy. By giving them recess they will fidget less in class and be less wild because sitting in a chair all day long can drive kids crazy because they like to be active and run around and play all their fun recess games like football and kickball. It will calm down the kids in class because if they used all their energy they’ll want to sit down because they are tired and they will fidget less and pay attention more because they have nothing to distract them anymore they used their energy and they are all tired and ready to sit still and learn in the classroom and tackle that worrying test or figure out the math problem they were stuck on before recess now they are refreshed their brain is up and awake and they are ready to learn. For the younger students in elementary schools it would help improve their behavior because they won't be screaming anymore rather they will be happy because they just had so much fun outside and now they are tired and ready to stay still and learn. Why Kids Need Recess said that in class it would almost improve all grades for students who have recess.
This supports the idea of how competitive sports teaches kids to cope with stress. Following that, competitive sports helps kids with healthy eating and staying in shape. There is an increase in overweight and obese people in the world. People that are overweight or obese are more likely to have health problems. Playing sports shows kids that it is enjoyable to get exercise and helps them stay active.
This constant state of poise takes away from productivity, when a person could be focusing instead and accomplishing more. In addition to stress, it has been discovered that, “...incoming information can change how people think and behave. These play to a primitive impulse to respond to immediate opportunities and threats. The stimulation provokes excitement — a dopamine squirt — that researchers say can be addictive. In its absence, people feel bored. The resulting distractions can have deadly consequences, as when cellphone-wielding drivers and train engineers cause wrecks...these urges can inflict nicks and cuts on creativity and deep thought, interrupting work and family life”, (Rechtel).
In my opinion, Flint Hill has the better educational approach with regards to technology. I believe this because the school 's’ administration allows students to experiment with technology. By shielding children from modern technology, you are limiting their potential and creating more obstacles for them to overcome in the near future. Furthermore, by exposing kids to technology, students are more eager to learn and are often more interested because they are learning in a form they think is entertaining. Students who sit uncomfortably in desks and listen to rambling lectures are most likely not able to retain information as well, due to the lack of engagement.
In a revolutionary study, Grealy, Johnson, and Rushton proposed exercise improved the visual and verbal learning memory, reaction times, and movement speed in patients suffering from a traumatic brain injury. Further research has shown exercise is especially beneficial for patients with traumatic brain injury as it improves cerebrovascular regulation, stimulates neuroplasticity, and provides neuroprotection. However, these effects may be affected by the intensity and delay of time in which the exercises are initiated. The intervention of aerobic exercise helps improve the cognitive performance of individuals who have recently suffered a traumatic brain
