The second amendment states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The second amendment guarantees the right to own a gun. You should be able to own a gun for protection and hunting. People think we shouldn’t have guns because they kill people, but guns don’t kill people. People kill people. Owning a gun is a human right. It was stated in the Constitution a little over 200 years ago. It should not be taken away now.
