1.1 BACKGROUND OF STUDY Ethics mean the standards of right and wrong that being set by the society about what humans should do and should not do. It is also usually in term of rights, fairness, obligations, benefits to society or for some specific reasons. In simple words, ethics is rules of behaviour that belief what is morally good and bad. On the other hand, work ethics can be defined as a view of work that has moral advantage and it is really essential in order to strengthen the character of a person. Besides that, work ethic also be defined as an ethical responsibility of individual based on job (Salajeghe & Farrokhiyan, 2015). Some example of work ethics are being responsible, honest, having good attitude and respect to each other. Next is the definition of Islamic Work Ethics (IWE). Islamic Work Ethics means the principle and teaching of Islam about how one’s should behave at his work place (Mohamed, Karim & Hussein, 2014). Actually, Muslim’s key to success and work ethic concept are all inside Qur’an and Sunnah.
