(Human Resource Management) INTRODUCTION- Employees are the main resource for any business, so therefore it is very important that their happiness or mental wellbeing is taken care of, that often comes when their health and safety is valued. Better productivity comes with better health. And better health comes when the employees are content. Satisfaction of an employee is associated with his state of being at peace or happy, and this leads to better performance enhancing the productivity. Factors like bonus, fringe benefits, working environment, extra-curricular activities all are related with employee’s satisfaction. But working environment is prior to other factors and has a better impact on their performance. The surroundings and the atmosphere the employees work in should be really comfortable and safe for it is very important for the employees to be cozy while they work for them to contribute abundantly towards their work. But just their working environment is not enough to be comfortable for them to work comfortably. It is known that the tools and machines they work with has to be equally comfortable to keep them healthy, fit, safe and most importantly satisfied and happy at work. Working within our school setting  we work in an open and transparent manor This includes ensuring , all doors have glass panels in or be left open so that we can be seen as we teach, this is set in place to discourage any false allegations of occurrences of abuse as it can be disproved and can also protect teachers them self from having abuse. By doing so we are allowing open teaching which can dissolve any accusations made by either students or staff. Listening to children-  All staff members to ensure they make time to listen to their pupils as it could raise concern regarding the child’s welfare as when a child is willing to speak and feels comfortable and safe enough to open up it is the staffs duty to ensure this child is listened to and taken seriously.
Poor posture paired with overuse of the hands and wrist are frequently found in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome (4). Postural dysfunction is common many different occupations. Proper ergonomics aims to suit the job to each individual. Ergonomics in the work place are often not customized for each individual. This forces employees to work in sub-optimal conditions.
There are many ways to prevent workplace head injuries. The employee must know their rights of the workplace. The worker must work on safe machines and wear safe personal protective equipment. The worker must also report all workplace injuries without being scared of retaliation. (Osha) OSHA is Occupational Safety and Health Administration and they create safe and healthful working conditions for men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education, and assistance.
Use work practices that make environments safe for all. A. I'd take note of my own cultural practices and individual behaviour and how this might impact other people around me. I would understand and acknowledge their diverse cultures and what is important to them. I would take initiative to create cultural safety and open to direct and indirect feedback from my co-workers ect. 3.
