She played a client that was experiencing depression and sadness. In addition, she role played as a client that she typically work with at the agency and I role played as the therapist. The Process of Reflection The process of reflection is central to clinical supervision. Launer (2003) describes external and internal factors in supervision whereby clinical practice and sharing skills are external and reflection is an ‘internal conversation.’ Brunero & Stein-Parbury (2008) discussed the effects of clinical supervision in nursing staff and argued that self-reflection generates a sense of self-awareness and knowledge to the individual. Supervisees or students may be asked what happened during a clinical event, how they felt, the implications of their actions and what they would do differently if faced with the same situation.
My job at the foodlion grocery store in Roebuck was an unenjoyable working experience to say the least. When I first began working at Foodlion the job was fun and I enjoyed it but as time went on it got worse and worse. As time went on the longer I worked there the more disrespectful my co-workers and supervisors got.
For my job shadowing experience I went to Eversheds, it is a corporate law firm and their offices in Johannesburg are in Melrose Arch. I chose to job shadow at a law firm as I had an aptitude test done by Professor Nel who comes highly recommended, one of the top choices to pursue as a career, was law. My strengths are in languages and my ability to connect and speak to people of all ages. Being a lawyer would include me having to have face-to-face interaction with clients, and I will be able to use these skills to my advantage as a lawyer. In this law firm, there are many different types of lawyers.

Writing project 3 has shown me the importance of writing something that is of interest for you, an issue that you are passionate about. I think that I have started to get somewhat better at the structuring of my writing and using outlines before I jump into a draft. I am no longer as scared and hesitant to write, as I was the first writing project. I think a good goal that I accomplished from this project was using diverse sources in my writing. I was able to utilize a magazine post, newspaper article and research journals to form my argument and provide support.
