Task 2:
My Personal Philosophy
Having been raised in a traditional Jewish environment where ultra religious people were considered to be, as one might say 'eccentric' and religion viewed as a cult, it has taken me until my teenage years to come to understand the true meaning of religion. As I have grown up and matured, I have come to realize the true value and beauty of living a religious life.

Through art, one can find the beauty of the world and gain a different perspective on how one sees the world. I am an artistic and creative person and I feel I can express myself through my work. I believe that it is extremely important to have a work ethic and be organized in what you do. Once you have a work ethic, you will be able to gather the necessary skills and tools that you will need in order to be successful. As I matured, my work ethics developed snd it now enables me to plan and order my time efficiently so that I can obtain results that are satisfactory and to enable myself to fulfill my potential. During my early high school years I did not work hard or put in any effort into my work ethics, and therefore this reflected in my marks. Since grade 10, with maturity, my work ethic has developed. I learned to be organized, disciplined and enthusiastic about my

Babylonian Traits of the Ishtar Gate Artwork means more than what one may see at first glance. There can be hidden meanings of the past or even hints of what their society was like. Each piece of art has something special including traits of the civilization; these traits are seen throughout history. With these traits we can tell what society we are looking at and experience the civilization 's unique culture. An example of a great piece of artwork contributing to society would be the Ishtar Gate in Babylon, this gate is very important within the Babylonian culture and expresses what their society treasured and valued along with the traits that this society had.

Art is a really good way of communicating because anyone can look at a drawing and say o look that is a flower! “I draw because words are too unpredictable”(Alexie 5). One used this quote because it is really true that words are to unpredictable. “I draw because I

For example, Adrian Hill, a man from England with tuberculosis used the idea of “participating in art projects with patients” (The History Of Art Therapy) as a way to help patients to express themselves and more importantly help them express how they are feeling without the use of words. Self expression in the form of art helped the patients be outgoing and confident without worrying that people might judge or make any unnecessary comments about their artwork. The process you go through while creating art is not only stimulating but also helps to “ dig deep and express and explore your inner new self in new ways-unleash buried feelings” (Art Therapy: Healing Through Self-Expression by Meghan Rabbitt). Art allows us to reach into a place that is not only untouched but unedited, expressing a true emotion deep
Artwork is what gives our life much more flavor to it. Life without art would be dull, and lackluster. Everything would be so basic, bare, and simple. Creativity is what really makes artwork amazing. People really enjoy some artists artwork, and are very passionate about it.
My short term personal goals are to graduate from High School with a 3.85 GPA, receive perfect scores in the Piano Federation festival in March, receive my High School Guild diploma in the National Guild program, and grow in my walk with the Lord. My short term education and career goals are to get a second part time job for the upcoming semester and summer. To reach my short term goals I am going to practice piano and study more. I will choose to cut out unnecessary activities (pleasure reading, watching television shows and movies, etc) to dedicate more time to studying my school books and practicing the piano. I want to spend more time with my Bible and in prayer.
My mission is to create my inner world a reality. To manifest my dreams and desires to my outer environment. There is no limit to my imagination nor any hindrances to my power to create. I will begin a ripple effect that will inspire art and innovation. Lead a creative revolution that will spark competition and quality.
1.2 Statement of Significance Art can do lots of things that can create powerful and great changes in ourselves. Religious Experience Reflecting on one’s religious experiences growing up can be a rigorous task but can also provide a self-reflection if the one reflecting looks at the events in a non-bias manner. I grew up in a non-structured home when it came to religion. My first experiences of religion came from my Dad’s stepdad. He owned a farm out in Bolton and when I was little I would go to the farm on the weekends and assist them on the farm and maybe see my cousins while I was there.
