“Education is the foundation upon which a free and just society is built. If continuous and concerted efforts are not made to provide quality education that is accessible to successive generations of citizens that foundation will crumble.” (Monolescu, Greenwood, & Schifter,2014) This is the gauntlet that has been thrown down for all educators alike, and with the continuing demands that are made on our time as business owners, homemakers, Military personnel, etc… we must find a way to reach their needs and assist them in accomplishing their goals of continuing education. “Technology has been instrumental in the evolution of distance education and has resulted in modes of delivery that now enable a “virtual” learning environment.” (Monolescu …show more content…
