The appearance of fringe comes from the Renaissance period where it was used by aristocrats to show off their wealth and luxury items. Fringe or trim consists of several types which are bullion fringe, campaign fringe, and thread fringe. Fringe actually is a fabric trim applied to an edge of textile items such as flags, drapery or clothes and the reemergence of fringe in some famous fashion shows was crisp and pleasant.
