Today, this aspect of the First Amendment still attracts people to our country. It is also one of the many reasons why the United States is referred to as “The Melting Pot”. Additionally, we are guaranteed the right to petition the government. This simply means that we can present requests to the government without fear of punishments or reprisals.
I believe that we are the ultimate interpretation of democracy and the result is that we are free to make our dreams a reality. America is the land full of possibilities where a penny can be turned into a dime with just hard work and perseverance. Being an American is all about taking advantage of the freedom of opportunities given to you. We offer a wide selection of opportunities that many places around us do not offer. Not every citizen takes these advantage, but those who do strive in the most marvelous way possible all thanks to the freedom given to us.
Both, race-conflict approach and multiculturalism, coincide with each other in the way that they explain the importance of equality among all races in the United States. They both focus on social conflict and diversity within this melting pot of a country. Race and culture encourage two diverse ideas, however they share similar goals of broadening people’s knowledge on the importance of other cultures contributions in the Americas and around the world. Equally, they share views and strong opinions on how the English way of life is not the only way people need to abide by anymore. In which, everyone is entitled to live the way there culture does without any outside dictatorship.
As an American citizen, I am aware of my rights. I am very thankful for my rights and I am genuinely grateful for the people who served to give me those rights. Over the years, countless wars have been fought for equal rights and freedom. The freedom not just for our country, but for many others too. To emphasize, rights, equality and having a strong government is very important.
American citizens are entitled three inalienable rights: Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The Declaration of Independence states that these three rights are God given and humans are born with them. From the outside looking in, one can say America is an ideal place where a person can be whomever they want. Many people believe that Americans have the right to strive for greatness and are given ample opportunities to do so. Of course, there are barriers, but all people are given equal opportunity to make it regardless of the obstacles.
The First Amendment and How it Applies to Members of the Military There are certain individual rights and freedoms that are guaranteed to every American citizen, as promised by the United States Constitution. The Bill of Rights carefully lays out the rights and freedoms promised to every citizen. The first amendment of the constitution is woven into every facet of American society. It sets the very ground work that would spawn generations of growth and change within our society and culture. However, there are certain organizations and individuals that do not fall solely under the constitution.
I am proud to be an Amarican.Because I have rights I have Freedom of speech. Freedom of religion. I can attend at school and get an edge cation. Because I live in a free country .We can elect our presidents I live in a good country .I have rights its petition. The highlight of being american is freedom, as an american we have have the rights to be or to do what we want. We can choose what school or what college we want to go and also we can choose a major for us to make a living. Being American gave us freedom of speech, the chance to vote, also the country would help you out if you need money, health insurance, and welfare. The amazing thing about being american is that we have a great army that fight day and night to keep the american people safe and sound. Being an American means defending your own rights to freedom of speech and to be free to be who you want to be. By being who you want to be means having the right to choose your own religion. It means that you are proud of your country to have its values of freedom to life, speech and liberty. You have the right to have your own ideas and beliefs and you are able to express them knowing that you have that kind of freedom. It means that you have the freedom to make your own choices in life even if it is to be successful or not you have the freedom of that choice and the freedom to life.
America is the country of freedom it’s the place where you can be yourself without anyone telling you or judging. As an American I see America as a wonderful place to live for so many reasons . America is the land of opportunity because we have the amazing opportunity to get an education while other countries don’t have the same opportunity as we here in America do.It’s a blessing to be living in America because it is very beautiful and very safe as well.
