When you think of teamwork or a team who do you think of? How about the word teamwork? Do you think of never giving up and being supportive? Well then the Panyee boys football club is a perfect example of this. In this video “Panyee FC,” The boys show an abundant amount of teamwork.
Tangerine: it’s not only a citrus fruit, but a county in Florida, a middle school, and the title of an amazing book: Tangerine, written by Edward Bloor. The protagonist Paul Fisher “Eclipse Boy” or “Mars” has to fight through being kicked off the soccer team for being visually impaired, being bullied in school and not only in school, but by the antagonist, his dissolute brother Erik Fisher. He also has to constantly hear about how opinionated his dad is about his brother Erik and the “Erik Fisher Football Dream. In the beginning of the novel the readers can sense character traits that are different between Erik Fisher and Paul Fisher.
In addition, the moor tries to cuts a deal with Lucius in order to save his child's life, promising to reveal the entire revenge plot if the Romans allow his child to live. Aaron proves his bravery because he spoke before the Goth Army and Lucius whom he had wronged. He says to Lucius, “save my boy, to nourish and bring him up; Or else I will discover nought to thee.” (Shakespeare 5.1.2219-20). He is selfless because he is giving up his life for his baby.

Throughout the novel, True Son remains greatly influenced by three fathers who try to teach him the values he will carry into adulthood: Cuyloga, his Indian father; Harry Butler, his white father; and the Sun, his spiritual? father. There were fights, vandalism of property mainly in the school of “Martin Luther King Junior High School”. There teachers being laid off because the school didn 't have enough money to fund the teachers. The sewage backup, caused by the failure of two pumping stations forces officials at the high school to shut down the furnaces. Even there sports. For example there football field was missing everything.
Shin was trying hard to be a nice person, but he cannot deal with the guilt of knowing that he did some horrible things back at Camp 14. “He told Kyung that he ‘disgusts’ himself, that he cannot escape dreams of his mother’s death, that he cannot forgive himself for leaving his father behind in the camp, and that he hates himself for crawling over Park’s body.” (page 182) He finds it impossible to let go of what he did in the past. Sometimes, he even feels like he is still in the camp.
Tangerine, a novel written by Edward Bloor is about a visually impaired boy named Paul Fisher. Paul and his family move from Houston, Texas to Tangerine,Florida. This realistic fiction novel shows you Paul Fisher's everyday life through the eyes of Paul Fisher himself. Consequently Paul was visually impaired at a very young age sadly losing his peripheral vision. Paul never remembered how he lost most of his vision but his parents and family had told him that he starred at a solar eclipse for too long and blinded himself. Throughout the whole story Paul is constantly told that he cannot see well yet he can see more things than people think including his brother Eriks true side.
Paul's life is hard. His brother Erik makes choices that affect him drastically. In this book, Tangerine, Edward Bloor talks about the choices people around Paul's life make and how they affect him. As it says in the story, Erik spraypaints Paul's eyes. Erik did this when Paul was just five.
