Ecocentrism
It is an argument which recognises intrinsic value in all life forms on planet earth irrespective of their importance to people. This means that the living things and non-living things have equal qualities that are important to the ecosystem with regard to treating their environment during decision making. Ecocentrism puts more value onto nature than humanity and it strive for balance within the ecosystem.

By the way, non-living things of an ecosystem include soil, water, air, temperature and sunlight. An example of ecocentrism could be a botanical garden where endangered plants are captured and conserved to avoid extreme extinction. Its criticism is that it subordinates the legality of individuals to biotic matters or concerns.

Progressive era is the period of time which is now where the world is adopting many ways to generate an advanced environment. Systematic ways of developing the environment are applied. Inexhaustible resources are resources with no threat of extinction. It cannot be used up. An example of it is solar energy. People were disturbed by the fact of decline in resources.
Most of inexhaustible resources are not to be held by hand as they are abstract or invisible. They are converted to something else from time to time. Solar panels convert solar energy into electricity which is used in households. There is even a solar powered geyser that is more convenient and saves electricity bills. Water is an essential resource for all living things on the universe. It is used for food drinking bathing watering and many more. It comes in various sources. These sources include rainfall, dams, reservoir, boreholes, wetlands, rivers, streams, lakes, etc. water is categorised into ground water, freshwater and seawater. They all have the same chemical properties of matter but different physical properties.
Renewable resources are those resources that can be used up several times as a different product due to processing and/or activities that are involved during the time a person utilises that very same item. In terms of agriculture, a good example could be sugar cane because if you harvest it but the roots or stalk is still attached in the soil it will regrow itself into a new plant which could consumed as well.
Non-renewable resources are resources that do not have the ability to be made up again. They cannot form a new product if they are used up. They can only be used up once after that they are useless and they only cause waste which is destruction to the environment.
