George Washington was very gritty person, grit is someone’s resolve and strength of character and he shows this by accepting all the roles he did. George Washington used perseverance, passion and courage to overcome obstacles. For starters, George Washington used perseverance to overcome adversity. For example, George Washington was the Leader of the Continental army (Mountvernon). He did this because he had served before and wanted change.
