This study also attempts to deepen the analysis of transitivity verb and applying theory and its parameter which is proposed by Hooper and Thompson (1980). II. RESEARCH METHOD Research method is important to guide in analyzing the data and help the reader to understand the research. The first theoretical element which will be discussed is the rhetorical genre of the speech. In specific the epidictic and deliberative genres will be examined in how their requirements are satisfied by this address. Secondly, inventio, the first phase of the speech will be discussed. Internal, artificial proofs found within inventio, namely ethos, pathos and logos will be analysed in so far as they are found within the inaugural speech. Thirdly, the second phase of the speech, dispositio, the speech’s composition will be inspected.

From my research question, three main topics are presented: dehumanization, disinhibition in warfare and drone strikes. These topics have been covered in various discourses. By referring to the existing scholarship on these topics, I will introduce key concepts and theories which have been used, that may be helpful in my own research. By assessing the strengths and weaknesses, and highlighting areas of disagreement and consensus, I will be able to identify gaps in the discourse and place my own research into the discourse. My literature was selected based on the three key components in my research question.
Mark Twain was an author who could write stories of such prevalence, like his novel: “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” This novel was written with all new boundaries in writing: point of view, the sense of journey, morality issues, and dialect differences. For these reasons, “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” is the most quintessential novel in American history. The main plot of this novel is simply a coming-of-age story told by the perspective of Huck himself. Not only does this show innocence and an honest point of view, but it also allows Twain to hide behind his character and share his opinion. Another aspect of Huck’s maturity and growth
This theory presents rules of grammar in terms of functions of words in sentences such as Subject, Predicate, Object, and Adverbial. In doing so, language becomes a tool for constructing meaning to represent knowledge. Hence, human beings can interpret and represent the world for each other and for themselves (Matthiessen and Halliday, 1997. pp. 1-3). The following table (2-1) shows the three lines of meaning in the clause according to Halliday and Matthiessen

It is Thought (or usually say reference) which is directed and organized, and it is also Thought which is recorded and communicated.
The goal of this paper is to describe the characters of Duncan Heyward and Uncas in The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper and to compare them. I will state three similarities and three differences between the two of them. The assumptions will be made on the basis of their qualities presented in the text, the situations and the characters’ development throughout the story. Firstly, I will start with the necessary background knowledge we need to know about the story itself and I will provide a general characteristics of both of the characters as well as a summary of the information we have about them. The story takes place in the middle of French and Indian War in 1757, time when English and French fought for control of the colonies.
The Summary of “Qualitative Research Technique for Data Collection”. In this summary, I would draw 3 main points of the article. First, the overview of the qualitative research which covers its definition and purposes. Second, I would describe concisely about the common methods or techniques respectively of the qualitative research, and thirdly, I would uncover the pros and cons of each of the drawn techniques in brief. Overview of Qualitative Research Qualitative Research is mainly about exploratory research.
