To begin, inequality still exists in the United States today because of transgenders getting ban from the military. For example, Trump says that “the U.S government will not accept transgenders to serve in any capacity in the military and that the military should just be focused on the victory and not just by the disruption that transgenders in the military would entail.” This shows that Trump thinks that the LGBT community is a distraction to our society. Trump thinks that they aren’t capable of fighting strong and provide protection to our country. If it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t be here. They are the ones who fought in wars in the past and do everything they can, so we can be safe. This proves that the United States is full of inequality
Inequality. We have heard this word many times before. Truly, the world is not a fair place, but why? Why do people in the United States have homes, and power, and food, while people in Africa are still starving? Is it because of race?
Imagine that you're on the front lines of combat with the opposing team shooting at you or you're in noncombat and working as an engineer for the military, and all you want to do is help out your country stay safe and make sure nothing happens to the glorious nation, but you can't. And why? Because you have people crawling down your neck and harassing you for reason and one reason in particular, you like the same gender you are. As a matter of fact, with the acceptance of gays into the military and the repeal of the Don't Ask Don't Tell Policy, the tension between straight and gay soldiers didn't disappear completely, but more actions need to be take by the military and citizens to help lessen the tension and the effects of it. It used
Inequality by: gracie bush Over the years, the government hasn’t been following through with the four basic principles of the Declaration of Independence. The government has not been treating all people equally. LGBT and gender are all victims. Sadly, the United States Government hasn’t been going by the principles and all people are not being treated equally and fairly. Jasmine Ware Ms.Johnson Period 5 28 February 2018 Wealth inequality: a growing issue in America Wealth inequality all but gave birth to our nation. Between taxation, navigation acts, and writs of assistance, the colonies were engulfed with laws that caused disparity and created social classes, leading to the colonies separating from Great Britain during the revolutionary war in 1783. Inequality has been rampant throughout many parts of the world. It also has been widely prevalent within the United States. When it comes to inequality, not many people think of it in terms of wealth.
By 1940, a child raised in an average American household had a 92% of making more money than their parents. As time progressed the averages began to decline. In the 1950s, the average still maintained to be elevated but receded to 79%. Rates dropped to 50% in the 1980s and the numbers presently continue to deteriorate (Leonhardt).
The United States is one of the most developed and wealthiest nations on the planet. However, the nation today has more income and wealth inequality as compared to any other key developed nation. In addition, there is a very large gap that exists between extremely rich and the rest of the people. Most of this income and wealth is controlled by a shocking small percentage of individuals. This accrues to only 1 percent of the nation’s total population.

Nowadays, there is a huge gap of income and wealth inequality in the U.S. and that means the richer people are super rich while bottom people are struggling for basic living standard. There are some direct and explicit statistics from Inequality for All graphic package from which we can tell the phenomenon. In 2010, the typical 1% people earn 33 times of typical male workers but in 1978 the ratio is tenth comparing the male workers with the “1%” people. Also, it says “Today, the top 400 richest people have more wealth than the bottom 150 million Americans put together” (Inequality for All). This shows considerable wealth of the U.S. is controlled in the minority people, which is totally unlike the period of 1950s through 1980s.
People around the world have many different political views whether they are going for the same candidate or not. Some people are pro-life, and some aren’t, some people think we need to spend more money to help close our debt, and some people think that we need to just invest it into American businesses. There are people who are Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, you name it in the USA we have it. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave and people interpret it in so many different ways. I am sure that you could find maybe three people with the exact same ideas as you from the big federal money spending problems, to immigration problems, all the way to the other problems such as equality for the LGBT group, or legalizing marijuana in all 50 states.
Income Inequality Income Inequality or “wage gap” is a big topic for freedom fighters and liberals for the simple fact that it isn’t equal for everyone. Because the wage gap is so prominent it's one of the biggest “facts” that discrimination is still apart of everyday American society. The wage gap from these radical interest groups think the economy is get a dollar take a dollar instead of a free flow economy. This misguided idea of the economy is absolutely not true and isn’t at the fault of the Government, but the people.
Ever since this country was founded, there’s been a giant system of corruption and oppression. Race as an ideology was established in America when settlers came upon different-looking people and decided to pin labels based on impressions and appearances. Nowadays, when people think of slavery, they immediately identify that African-Americans suffered the worst, which I personally think is at least partially accurate. And nowadays, African-Americans are persecuted in terms of being incarcerated at mass volume. Michelle Alexander fiercely points out in ‘The New Jim Crow’ that the criminal justice system in America is basically like a “racial caste system”.

Being a soldier takes courage, being a transgender soldier takes even more. Trump is banning transgender soldiers from serving in the military because it could "hinder military effectiveness, lethality, cohesion, and tax military resources" said by President Trump. Banning transgender soldiers is wrong and should be stopped because not allowing them the sever is discrimination. There are troops that are already serving in the military and the medical cost has little to no impact on the economy. By not allowing transgender soldiers to server is discrimination.
