Inevitable Conflicts
There are many reasons for which conflict can be established within a friendship, a family situation, or encounter with a stranger. The definition of conflict is having a serious disagreement or argument. There are many conflicts that occur everyday and will occur between two individuals or group. Some common examples that help contribute or have conflict arise are jealousy, lack of consideration, and differences in outlooks or life principles. When conflict is in play, many times consequences are a result, but it does not necessarily have to be bad. Having an argument or dispute can be helpful in some ways because it helps establish boundaries and receive valuable insight on other’s opinions. The management of conflict is essential because it will help an individual know the necessary skills in how to deal with everyday life. Individuals should know that the way that the conflict is handled or the way the disagreement is conveyed is important since it is how the person shows character. I understand her point of view and where she is coming from because I also believe that Halloween is associated with evil, but there is no evil in trick or treating as well as dressing up as a fun character. We have agreed that the national holiday is always going to be celebrated throughout the years and there is no stopping the traditions and customs of those who do not practice christianity. We have also established the fact that we would not mention halloween or celebrate as a family as long as we live together. It is unknown if I will ever actually choose to celebrate the holiday, but I would still believe that there is no harm in giving out candy. As long as the holiday is not celebrated with the intention of being evil and worshiping satan, it should be perfectly
