I urge you to explore those areas just mentioned and ask God again and again who He wants us to be for Him as that can be specific for each of us. But in in addition to this, part of God’s plan is for us to become more and more Christ-like as the years go by and to use us to bring others to him. I need you to imagine something so would you close your eyes for a second please. Think for a moment about the person or persons who helped you come to Christ. What did they tell you about Jesus?
God has a plan for all of us that we aren’t yet aware of. In my mind, not knowing our exact outcome in life is just like not knowing how enormous the world is out there even past the naked eye. There is so much more to see in the world and that is what I understood from the
As well as not having the problems, there will be other things that will be done in Heaven. Like I said before, we would see those who are still on Earth through Heaven. In Heaven, we would be able to learn about the things we didn't understand on Earth, such as: what is life?, and what is my purpose? So really, what is Heaven? Well, we just gonna have to find
At least, that is what everyone says and wants people to believe, but sometimes some are not lucky to see the next day. As for me, I was blessed that God saw something great in me and decided to give me a second chance. I guess God said, he was not done with me yet and he saw his vision in me to get myself back on the right track. After almost losing my life, I stop partying, drinking, and smoking; started back talking to my family. I had to find a pathway back to loving myself and building a strong foundation connection with God.
It is a good word to remember, because it’s a word that changes our lives forever for those who love Jesus. On Day 6 we talked about how to ask Jesus to live in your heart. If you have never done that before, and you would like to now, or if you don’t know how to do that, we have a simple prayer you might like to say in the back of this book, that will help you do that. It is a small prayer, but it will bring big changes to your life, because Jesus will come into your life and become your Saviour.
If you think of God’s garden with man and woman in it, as a perfect depiction of God’s image reflecting his glory through his creation. Then picture the fall of mankind as a shattering of that image. Then God’s goal through mankind’s redemption is to reassemble that image and restore the glory that once shined through it. Gordon Smith in his book Courage & Calling outlines three distinct areas of God’s calling for us. First, we are all called to become disciples.
Furthermore, God is concerned about all that He has created. In fact, God is so concerned about His creation that He feeds, clothes and shelters them all. "God does not need us or the rest of creation for anything, yet we and the rest of creation can glorify him and bring him joy" (p. 161). God does not owe mankind anything, but mankind owes everything to God, including her life. Particular sections in the reading shares an interesting topic of God giving Himself glory.
Isaiah 46:10 tells us, “Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish” (NLT). Ps. 8:3-4 says, “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?” (NLT). While Psalm 32:8 says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you” (NIV).
It is not also in accordance to God that people take away the life of the other. Personally, through this lesson, I have become more grateful to the life God has given me and every time I talk to Him, I thank God for another day to experience life. Without this precious gift, I would not be able to see what life has to offer me; this includes my family and friends. Furthermore, I am now capable of sharing this life to other people by building a stronger relationship with them. I am also reminded that we still differ in some circumstances since people may experience life difficulties.
