The pain the beauty and abuse Perseverance is when you excel from a hard experience. It helps you gain more confidence and strength. You become more of a strong person if you persevere from something. Buck is a dog from a book called Call Of The Wild. He perseveres a lot in this book. He becomes more of a wolf than just a dog by the end of the book. My sisters Brook and Sophia both persevered from an experience with their father. Buck in the book Call Of The Wild he perseveres a lot and grows as at first he was a weak dog. Although I personally think that my sisters have gone through more, but some of the things my sisters went through were kind of the same as the stuff Buck when through. Like Buck got beaten with a club. He was scared because he had never been beaten like that. Until after that Buck learned the club of law and fang. He learned from his bad experiences. As they both felt deep pain. To begin on this topic, They both got abused very physically. Buck got beaten a lot by his owners. Brook and Sophia were threatened and hit by their father. Now as you can tell they both were very hurt. All of them dealt with new family or owners. Buck was constantly getting new owners who would either be nice or terrible. Brook and Sophia had to become more comfortable with my dad and his side of the family. Like as if it as their own family. After all these tragic events they had different lives. His character changes from loyal and king of his domain to scared and bloodthirsty and barbarous and he’s no longer king. Buck was also extremely adaptable, and able to adjust himself to changing conditions. Buck was intelligent, and able to learn quickly from both observation and experience. Buck was Introduced to survival of the fittest, Buck was able to immediately discern what the most expedient course of action was in a given situation, and was able to perform accordingly. Although his spirit remained strong throughout, Buck, when confronted by a man with a club, was too wise to rebel when he knew it was impractical.
Buck 's intelligence and strength helped him survive, but the determination and will to live is what really got Buck through his hardships. A major theme in The Call of the Wild is "Determination can get you through anything," a statement Buck proves multiple times. Buck was a strong-willed dog that faced many challenges, from being kidnapped, sold to Alaskan gold miners, becoming a sled-dog and conflict with other dogs. While Buck 's wits, strength, and most likely some luck assisted him in his journey, Buck stayed determined throughout and it got him to where he wanted to be. In the beginning, Buck was a pampered dog, he lived in a nice house with a family that loved and cared for him.
In Call of The Wild, Buck, the main character, is forced to push through treacherous conditions and dangerous situations to achieve his goals, showing his undying perseverance. Buck is able to persevere through everything due to his extreme want to be great at everything he does, no matter the activity. Then after Buck took a few beatings from the club he backed down to the man in the red sweater and retrusted humans with clubs. While Buck was learning to be a sled dog, Spitz the leader of the sled team would attack Buck even when Buck was doing as told.

Through the actions of the two laws (Buck being beaten and Curly dying) Buck quickly learns that he has to adapt or perish. At the end of chapter 3, Buck and Spitz begin fighting, Buck quickly learns that if he wants to be the leader he would have to kill Spitz. After Buck kills Spitz, he feels no remorse for what he has done. Buck is starting to show his savage instincts.
Buck is a dog from Santa Clara Valley, a dog who lived in a huge house. He was the king of the property and was petted, fed well and treated like a loved and cherished dog. Buck was living a pampered life, where he had everything he want until the day where he was stolen, sold, and brought to an unknown environment.
