Both cousin Janice and John are regular parade goers who appreciate watching the lavish floats decorated with beads and confetti, and exotic Mardi Gras costumes made of feathers, beads, and vibrant colored fabric. On the morning of last year’s Big Nine parade, I arrived early at Peggy’s home in the Lower Ninth Ward, a close friend of cousin Janice. Both are Big Nine members. They were putting the finishing touch on their suites. Ladies wore yellow with dark color shoes, and men wore burgundy clothing.

What the kids loved was Gorman and Boone’s Trained Wild Animal Show, which featured their lions and monkeys, and illusions executed by Edison’s Mirage and Spain’s Palace of Illusions. (75, 90) The entertainment, fun, and amusement was all found in Vanity Fair and will be remembered by all who experience them.

Rebecca had straight brunette hair that cuts off at the shoulder.

The second day of Dia de los Muertos is celebrating everyone else, our parents, elders, aunts, and uncles, everyone and anyone. People do things like dressing up in fancy clothes, dresses, stilts and lots of makeup.
You go on to say on line two that the band are gleaming. I can definitely see that because when you go to a fiesta (party), you see all the lights flashing at the band and everyone else on the dance floor. With the lights shining and the rapid tempo of the salsa band playing it makes you want to get up and dance, that is how I feel. You go on to say “In the Liberty Loan pawnshop” (Espada line three and four). I believe it is ironic for me because you do not see a salsa band in a pawnshop.
In the beginning of the story Fleete, drunk from the New Years Eve party wanders off with his friends (Strickland and the narrator) to a Hindu temple. He goes to the statue of Hanuman, the monkey god and grinds his cigarette on the forehead of the god. He then says “Shee that? Mark of the B-beasht! I made it.
