Examples Of Utopia In Jurassic Park

“Perhaps the greatest utopia would be if we could all realize that no utopia is possible”- Jack Carroll. Basically the author is saying, a utopia is a system destined to fail. The more perfect a system, the more fragile it is. Any wrong move will cause the system tumbling down like a house of cards. A utopia cannot work because of the interactions between society. An example of this, is the film, Jurassic Park. In the film, people find a way to destroy a perfect ecosystem. In the movie, the dinosaur utopia fails because people decide to genetically modify an animal, and as you guessed it, things do not go out as planned. For the same reason, we still this day face difficulty because no place or person is perfect.
In a perfect society, you can never reach your goal. No matter how much you improve. Perfect by definition, is an unreachable. The tighter you squeeze it, the more likely it will slip between your fingers. As you reach down to pick it up, you will end up slipping on the bar of soap, and hitting your head. The more pressure you put on a system the more likely it will fail (from the article, Why Utopias Fail). A real life example of this, is the more you try to erase a colored pencil drawing, the worse it will look. The next example is a wishbone. You can never snap it evenly in half. The harder you pull, the more likely you will end up losing. In the end, you will end up holding the short end of the wishbone. In conclusion, my last example is a congress. The more people that are placed into that system, the less likely it will operate
