When I was about ten years old during the Holiday season, I couldn’t wait for Christmas Day. One week before the 25th of December I looked out the window and it was snowing outside and freezing cold. The grass was covered with a thick layer of fresh powder of snow. The trees were covered with some snow on top of the tree branches. The truck with a snow plow was going up the street in my neighborhood clearing the streets and dropping salt to melt the ice. I open the door and feel the temperature outside and it was cold outside. I couldn’t wait till Christmas. Every night I went to bed I dreamed about having that special gift. I thought what I would do with it and how I would use it. I just couldn’t wait until I receive this gift. At this point it was so close to Christmas. The snow stopped falling and the sun is out. I enjoyed the snow before the sun would melt it. This gift that I’m waiting for is still bothering me till I get it. I didn’t want anything else but this one thing for Christmas. I was having fun in the snow till I was getting cold, so I went back in. Each day it was cold outside. It kept getting closer and closer to Christmas. I couldn’t wait to see what I was going to get. It’s Christmas Eve and I am excited about what I might get. It was time for me to go to bed. I couldn’t sleep I was so excited. I finally fell asleep then woke up in the middle of the night.
