Before arriving to Korea, I decided to become an international student and have not regretted my decision to continue and move forward. I believe the next step for me is to go on the Exchange Student Program which can provide me the opportunity to experience another university lifestyle while still being enrolled to my the home university.
While being at Yonsei I have had a complete experience, not only in the academic aspect, though also by joining student besides academic clubs and volunteer programs that have given me the opportunity to appreciate more people outside of my classroom environment. By having explored around the campus I have appreciated being in a university full of activities related to music concerts and sport games.

This was specially accessible while living in the Songdo dormitory where I had to share a room with a Korean girl I have never met before and had grown up in a contrasting environment as mine, however we developed a satisfactory communication.
Nonetheless, even while living in Korea I still live with my family, as I did before when I lived in Mexico City. While appreciating my parents, however I believe that at this point in my life and while I am still in college I should experience living by myself. I will be able to demonstrate the confidence and independence I have developed through the years. It will be an experience for me to test what being an adult living alone indeed involves, especially living abroad. Even during difficult experience I trust in myself to be in control and conduct a balanced and ordered life wherever I

Australia is a country where I have never been able to visit, it would be a fantastic opportunity to go to school there because it would give me the motivation to tourist it by wanting to get to know more about the place I am staying at. This country provides great outdoors for traveling around the country, getting to observe inconceivable natural places and animal protected areas. And by being in the coast of the beach, the cities provide an enjoyable and livable place to focus on classes including the activities of modern culture with which I could work on my personal development. This country is abundant with foreigners who all have different stories and experiences I can learn from. The cities boast with culturally rich yet affordable activities for students. The universities provide a diverse and vast abundance of classes in different areas of study. While being in Australia it could likewise be accessible to visit several places in the country and other countries nearby too. It will be a different experience for me while at the same time continuing with a global and of quality education since several top universities of the world are centered in the most relevant cities of this
I did not know anyone in Spokane, so I attend most of the school events to make friends and develop networks. It was the most challenging experience as I was stepping out of my comfort zone. I did not regret moving to Spokane because I learn how to be involved in a different community, not only the Korean community. I am thankful for my friends and people who volunteer to be my patient when I was in the dental hygiene program. Likewise, I learn how to give and share time and talent with people from people I met in
The state that I live in (Northern Territory) only has one university which made it harder for me to visit universities and to learn about the different courses that are held. Being able to explore Melbourne University has allowed me to think and create a new future for myself in which I can further my studying and just like many other students that attend the Murrup Barak Experience Camp, I hope to attend Melbourne University next
With one foot in Seoul and the other in Kalamazoo, I have been juggling two homes for going on seven years. For the first dozen years of my life, home was where I was born and raised—the comfortable Irwon neighborhood in a cozy apartment with my mom and dad. When I first arrived in Michigan, it took nearly a year before I accepted that an entirely new story had begun. Slowly but surely, my aunt and uncle had become substitute parents and my two little cousins were now adopted siblings.
As a result of the learning, I have already done here at UO, I am ready to take on this next challenge. La Trobe University and University of Oregon have a partnership to allow students to take part in a direct exchange, which is what I will be engaged in. This means a wildly independent experience, with no familiarity to cling to, which for me will be incredibly motivating and allow for growth. La Trobe University also does not separate international/exchange students in classes, housing, or within any other university activities. This is exactly what I am looking for.
My father has recently become unemployed, and my mother is still recovering from surgery as I write this essay and is also unable to work. I know my parents support my decision to study abroad, but they must prioritize the day-to-day needs of my siblings and their medical bills, and as such they cannot possibly afford to aid me financially. Unfortunately, I have continued to put off participation in international education because of financial hardship. I distinctly remember during the fall of my freshman year of college not being able to afford a one-week international exchange program.
The life I grew in is the world of constant moving. I have lived in China, Taiwan, Utah, Nevada, and California. My academic life was marked by transferring into different schools - four elementary schools, including Challenger school, three middle schools, including an IB program, and two high schools including a Career Technology Academy (CTA). I have developed great coping skills, and learned to appreciate social and cultural differences in various educational settings. I realized that each community that I have been living in had its unique personality.
I was born and raised up in South Korea for twenty years, and thus I know Korean culture very well. I also understand American culture as well, because I lived and worked with Americans for four years. I decided to choose this topic, because in my experience, I have noticed a lots of differences between Korean culture and American culture; for example how Korean or American treat older people, how Korean or American act in the gym, and about the differences in foods. I picked those subjects because I have experienced the Koreans and Americans side well enough to understand both and I’m currently in South Korea with military men and women. I have Korean friends and American friends spending time together sometimes, and then I can observes differences and similarities.
However, I still participated because I needed to know if I was capable of living away from home. The first night staying in the
Achieving a higher education is a dream of mine. I am not your traditional college student I am thirty-one, African American female and a mother of a six year old son. Coming from a family that has little means, the thought of attempting to go to college was farfetch, something that was merely impossible to achieve. I am the second person in my family to achieve a high school diploma and the first to attend college. Growing up in Oakland Ca in a neighborhood that others seen as impoverished I called home and treated it as such.

Moreover, I am looking forward to a different approaches to a geographical at the foreign country. I specially appreciate the wide module arranged by this university which will help me to create a brighter future. It is also a university that famous with high quality of teaching and research. I am attracted to University of Glasgow as it has been internationally recognized as top 100 universities in the world. Apart from that, it has a professional department in law, medicine, veterinary medicine and dentistry.
Many people plan to see the world or to travel at some point in their life and have new experiences but few ever get the opertunity to do so either due to work, school or simple problems in everyday life. The few that do however get the chance to travel abroad and see the world might not be able to do so until they are very old or have retired. Because of this I propose a program that would allow students to see the world while they are still in school, realitively unbrudened by things such as work or worry of money, bills or insurence. The program I have in mind is known as the student exchange program. The student exchange program allows for a student to leave their country of residence and take up residence in another country all while still going to school and studying within the country.
I had an opportunity to talk with these students. Most of them win the scholarship to study in Korea. This is also the motivated me to want to study in Korea even more. I belong a merchant family.
Studying abroad is a growing opportunity that many people around the world of all different ages take. In 2012, over 760 thousand international students studied abroad in the United States alone. The positive reasons for studying abroad are numerous, but there are also negative ones too. Studying abroad brings with itself a lot of preparation and responsibility. Also many people see acculturating oneself and making new friends in a new place can be challenging.
Studying abroad more excellent than studying in Kuwait No one can deny that studying abroad is extraordinarily useful for students. Studying abroad helps students to achieve a higher level of education in plenty of fields that might not be available in their country. It also helps them to learn a plethora of material and gain experience in their life.
