Moreover he or she should be able to adapt new practices to the needs of every student. I believe, the first step for every teacher is to attempt to build good relationships with students. Moreover, it is important to have good interrelationships with colleagues and administrators. Being able to establish respectful and caring relationships with colleagues can enrich the work experience. When I was in the middle school, my favorite teacher was the teacher of Ukrainian literature and language.
As professional educators, it is important to eliminate problems and serve all children and youth with special learning needs. The world around us is in a rapid and continuous state of changes. Therefore, it is important that the schools prepare all students to identify, analyse, and resolve problems as they need to develop a character as the firm basis. Greater levels of educational support is necessary if we are to accommodate the expanding education requirements. Meeting the educational needs of all students is becoming more difficult.
Lastly, the teacher has to be able to engage with a variety of instructional strategies to ensure learners are guided and supported in a way that is beneficial to their learning of the new language. The teacher also has to have knowledge of how to create opportunities for practice and incidental
For me, it begins by investing my time, knowledge and experience in students. Developing collaborative student relationships fosters a sense of mutual trust and respect. Gaining every student’s trust enhances the learning relationship and is reflective of my commitment to caring and my dedication to student success to achieve their goals. When it comes to classroom instruction, I feel that how I teach is equally as important as what I teach. I integrate current evidence based practice in all course content.
Caring relationships that instill a value in education, and that high expectations might be the most important form of capital parents need to be effectively involved and students to be academically successful (Vongprateep, 2015). If parents and students feel supportive and engaged we hope this will transfer over to student engagement and school performance, thus parents will take an active role in their child’s education. How do we help parents and student have not had successful interactions with school and have been disengaged? Parents and students, due to school issues, have had a negative experience at school that involved dealing with law enforcement and face legal process. They often see the school as the enemy; both parent and students disengage and are not actively evolved.
My college career has been devoted to learning how to become a teacher. I 've taken a variety of courses that not only have exposed me to new content, but to a new perspective about education. I have learned about the teaching strategies, techniques and approaches that make a great teacher. Student teaching will enable me to put them into practice. Furthermore, the opportunity to student teach will provide me with a strong foundation to become the best teacher I can.
Although every school term, there are parents, student and teacher meeting, the teacher has to distribute rightful time for each student to discuss the student’s performance rather comparing or choosing selective students in communicating. Teachers should try to handle the student’s problem in a friendly manner. As a result, students turn to act responsive and respectful toward the teachers. Some students might perform best when they listen and participating in class discussions, and other might be visual persons while others prefer to take down notes. This is why it is imperative for the teachers to engage in knowing the students at the beginning of the school year and as quickly as possible for them to implement the right teaching strategies. Another important factor for the teachers to take into consideration is the parental support and home environment in the student success. Nowadays, teachers try to build a friendly relationship with the students’ parents because they know that sometimes when the student is not performing well is because there are problems at home. It takes everything around us to learn about the environment as everything around us is the environment. Teaching materials such as blackboards and there should also be learner materials such as textbooks and these should be available at any time. The learning environment should be able to function as a learning area. The learning area should make children want to work and make them excited to be in this learning environment. There should be many posters and images and even models of things portrayed in the classroom as this will make the learners want to work.
