I am signing up to be a COM Team Co-chair because I truly want to help ease the incoming M1s into medical school and help plan as stress-free of an orientation week as possible. I remember how stressful and scary the thought of starting medical school was, but having supportive COM TEAM Co-chair leaders made all the difference. I want to be a COM TEAM Co-chair that gives advice, guidance, and support to the incoming M1s. In any team there are set leaders that help bring up the moral. The coaching staff of the Miami hired a psychologist that analyzed all the players and pointed out the leaders. Those leaders were assigned team task and team building roles.

My appointment to General McLane’s LINK Crew is an amazing opportunity to gain leadership training and utilize it within my local community.
