Three training methods that benefit a netballer are fartlek, circuit training and interval training.
Fartlek would be used for a netballer because it combines continuous and interval which combines a range of training speeds and intensities. A netballer needs this because it helps develop aerobic power. For the activity below you jog to the first line and then sprint back, you do the same for the next 3 lines but for the last line you sprint all the way to other base line and sprint all the way back and when complete take a 30 sec rest and then start again.
Circuit training would be used for a netballer because it is a very good way of developing and improving their fitness and it also combines both continuous and resistance training. A netballer needs this to keep up their fitness and to gain new skills to use during a game. A circuit would be that you start of doing heel flicks diagonally from one corner to the other corner; you heels are up to your bum. Then do side-steps, you face the base line and run along the line without your feet touching. Then do star jumps which are just jumping up in the air and spreading

An activity that would be used for interval training is Straight lines Drives. Straight line drive is driving forward two cones and back one. How this work is at cone 1 you drive to cone 3. Turn quickly and drive back to cone 2. Turn quickly again and drive to cone 4. Turn to drive back to cone 3 and then turn and drive to back to cone 4. Turn and drive to stop 2 and then turn and drive to cone 3. Turn and drive back to cone one. After this is completed you take a rest for 30
Celebration of culture for Indigenous Australians is imperative as a tool for defining and conserving their identity. By actively participating in traditional Indigenous culture in the form of games, students from diverse backgrounds can form an awareness and respect for Indigenous culture. The “Puldjungi” ball game instruction sheet could be used as an activity for a physical education lesson for grade five students in Victoria (Australian Sports Commission, 2008). The Puldjungi game would provide students with an example of a game which was played by young Indigenous Australians in Victoria. By partaking in the Puldjungi game, students will learn about an aspect of Indigenous Australian culture in Victoria in a fun and practical way.
Throughout chapters ten and eleven of Introduction to the Philosophy of Sport, Heather L. Reid addresses the many issues that arise between the relationship between virtues and sports. In particular, Reid states, “It is characteristic of sport that we want to know not just who won but also whether they deserved to win” (Reid, 140). The emphasis on the “deserving” to win closely ties with ethics, assuming that only virtuous people “deserve” to win. What grabbed my attention even more was Reid’s next statement regarding immoral actions that occur outside of the arena of sport: “The detection and punishment of cheaters is (at least presented as) a priority, and even immoral actions that have nothing to do with sport can tarnish an athlete’s image and detract from his or her results” (Reid, 140). I agree with Reid’s proposal that an athlete’s reputation can easily be affected by actions irrelevant to his or his sport.
Sport in Australia, has always embodied the idea of equality, where everyone has the opportunity to participate. Background information (like cultural background), and barriers has never been a problem to affect ones participation. But recently over the years as more sports have been developed, and funding from the government has become harder to get a lot of people have struggled to participate in a chosen sport, especially athletics as it is the more costly sport. “Athletics is a sport stripped to its barest essentials, to run, walk, jump and throw is the basis of human activity”. For many centuries Australians have been known for success in a range of sport for example swimming, rowing and athletics.
I interviewed Dr. Lee Weidauer; he has a Ph.D. in nutrition, exercise, and food science, a master’s of science in exercise science, and a Bachelor’s of science in athletic training all from South Dakota State University. He is an assistant professor. His certifications and professional memberships include ATC, ACSM, and American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. When he was considering the career, what he wanted most was to help people.

Fall sports have reached their end for this season, and Sarah Koehler, the certified athletic trainer from Ashland High School, has finally started to enjoy some of the downtime between the sporting seasons. Koehler has become a familiar presence at Ashland High School and first started working there as the fall sports were kicking off. She is an employee of Essentia Health, but the most likely time that you will find her is when she is helping with an injured student athlete. In an interview, Koehler said that she had always had a passion for healthcare and athletes, so it worked that she should become an athletic trainer. Athletic training offers many opportunities and characteristics that interests me for my future career. Athletic trainers get flexible work hours, multiple benefits, many great opportunities, and much more. They get to work with various types and ages of people from children to adults and work in many different areas. Athletic trainers have a wide range of jobs. They apply protective or injury-preventive devices along with basic first aid treatment.
Athletic participation at all ages has increased tremendously over the years. Student-athletes are working harder to become bigger, stronger and faster. As the number of athletes rise in schools, so does the chance of athletic related injuries. This is leading to the increase number of athletic trainers at the high school level across the country. Athletic trainer is defined as a “health care professional who collaborates with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation” (AMA 19).
It gets your heart healthier because running makes your heart beat faster. Lacrosse also makes your lungs expand, which is healthy for you. You expand your lungs whenever you are running. Lastly you do a lot of stretching. Stretching is healthy because it helps stop you from pulling a muscle.
The guardian of health, it is what I think of athletic trainer. During clinical study in college, I accompanied athletes been through recovery processes, educated athletes methods to keep themselves from injuries, and experienced the greatest excitement with athletes when they achieved their incredible accomplishment. Attracted by every piece of this meaningful profession, I have chosen it as my career. My acquaintance with athletic training was in high school when I got a rotator cuff strain by playing baseball. While seeing numerous time of doctor, it had never fully recovered.

Ricochets Gymnastics Club is a gymnastics school that is located in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. This gymnastics training center has been serving the community since 1982. Their programs include Girls Programs and Super Kids Programs. Their Girls Programs include beginners - no prerequisite, advanced beginner - must complete beginner level, intermediate - must complete advanced beginner level, advanced - must complete intermediate level, and tumbling and trampoline - no prerequisite.
The career choice that I have chosen is to become an athletic trainer. I love to play sports and be around sports, so I think that being an athletic trainer would be a good career for me. I like to help people and make an impact in other peoples life and becoming an athletic trainer would allow me to help people recover, start to feel better, and get back to what they have to do. There isn’t much better than doing a career that you enjoy and like to do plus making pretty good money doing it. I just feel that becoming an athletic trainer and doing it as a career would be the best fit for me.

It is often heard that strength training is dangerous for young children. One can even hear that anyone under the age of 18 should not be anywhere near dumbbells or a squat rack. Strength training is simply not for growing children; they can get seriously injured and it will hinder their growth! These arguments are simply inconsistent with scientific research.
