I am very passionate about serving in the military, and want the challenge. In the words of my recruiter, I was “playing for the varsity, not the junior varsity”. The Marine Corps is a better fit over the Army for me because they are the first to the fight, are more physically demanding, offer excellent benefits, and I would be more proud of the title of United States Marine than I would be of anything else. I want to
State Trooper “Being a good police officer is one of the most difficult ,dangerous, idealistic jobs in the world” (“Thomas Hauser Quotes”). This quote said by Thomas Hauser praises the values of how hard being a police officer is. One career that is worth pursuing is becoming a state trooper. A state trooper job consists of responding to emergencies, traffic stops, and arresting criminals. They also do search warrants, search crime scenes and many more.
The United States National Guard is an excellent career choice for people all over the country. Many people take the National Guard path to fulfill their career needs. The National Guard, like any career, has its problems within the job. The National Guard’s main issues are with deployment. The National Guard takes parents away from their families for months, and even years, at a time to serve their country in foreign lands all over the map.
I want to learn and become a better person, a more knowledgeable person, a more focused person, a more driven person, and most importantly, a leader. As I have mentioned before I want to make a career out of the Army. As far as my plans for the future of my military career I would like to become an officer and stay in as long I can and become an accomplished officer. This is a job I have always wanted to
What makes the marines so good? The marines are the first ones to battle in war. Some people don’t think the marines are the best group out their. I know they are the best group because of the things they do in boot camp and in battle that makes them the best. The marines have a great saying about them and that is the Few, the proud, The Marines.
There are million different careers out there in the world for me to choose from, but finding the one perfect for me can be difficult. Joining the army is going to be the first start of my future and my career. In the army, I can get paid while working, get a scholarship, and a job all right there on a military base. I realized that it might be a little hard for me to raise up enough money to pay for college to go right away, but if I go into the military I could get a scholarship, which means the military would pay for my college on base or whatever school they have for me to go to. This would definitely be my future and basically my whole life.
The first reason for why I want to be in National Junior Honor Society is because it just seems like it is exciting . You know helping the community and doing event that I don’t think that I would do or just ever go on my spare time . Plus it is also a chance to meet new people and make more friends . The second reasons is because in the message it states “Membership is prestigious, and only the brightest and most studious get to apply.” So this makes me think this is important and not everyone can just enter and apply .This was also given to a handful amount of people .
The first time I heard about Americorps, it was my first year as a transfer student at Georgia State University. I had no idea of what the program was and what it consist of. The moment I search and read about the program without doubt I wanted to be a part of. The reason why I would like to join Americorps program because of the purpose it exhibits. Americorps represents the theory of idealism.
In 1950 American troops were sent to help South Korea fight in the Korean War. Because of our participation in this around 36,914 lives were lost, the costs were many, and North Korea is seeking to harm us more than ever. In the end it was worth it, South Korea’s economy has grown and been strengthened, they ae now free from the threat of dictatorship, and we are good allies with South Korea. There are no or very few regrets that come with participation in this event, therefore, the United States joining the Korean war was a great sacrifice but well worth it in the end.
I want to be a Warrant Officer because this is how I can best serve my country. Society expects me to fulfill an enormous amount of responsibilities. I will do so with the most humble head all while fulfilling my responsibilities. I am ready, willing and highly motivated to enter what is perhaps the most challenging chapter in my
With the end of highschool and the start of life in the real world looming before me, I am forced to stop and wonder and ponder things such as, am I ready for this, and what the heck am I going to do now and finally where did all that time go. At first when I was looking at life after college I was kind of caught between the choices of either going to college or joining the Armed forces, but, after I sit and ponder for a little while I realize that hey I shouldn’t stress so hard for I could do both first joining the United States Air Force Special Operations and then through the military apply for college which they would pay for. So after I settled that migraine I continued the process and so I could ease my gray hairs I’ve already started on my application process.
Valley Forge At the time of George washington felt bad about how they were treated. The soldiers did not have good food, the soldiers were living in bad conditions in the year 1777 because the house has holes and they had bad food and In the morning it was really cold. If I were a soldier, I would re-enlist because they are losing people and they need people. I would re-enlist so I could fight for my nation, they need more people and i don't want to be a summer soldier.
Doing what I love and being able to support myself and loved ones is important to me. I am a very independent person and I like to do things my way. I like to set individual goals everyday, whether that means doing my homework before a certain time, or completing something for the week. They help me get my work done on time and efficiently.
Throughout my childhood and adolescent years, I always had a dream of joining the military. Though it was a choice, I still did not have any inside information of what it would be like, and the requirements and specifics of the Army. It wasn't until 2005 when I decided to join the United States Army that all my concerns and questions were answered by a recruit; and I was guided through the whole process to enter and prep for the Army. If it was not for the confidences and motivation of my recruiter back in 2005, I might have not made my leap and probably would not be in this uniform today. Becoming a member of the United States Army recruiting team means having a physical and mental toughness in order to perform efficiently.
From my first semester in college I could not decide what career I want to be in. After a long time thinking and researching I narrowed down my interest to political science, and my interests have directed me towards international relations and laws. I am fascinated by how the states of the world cooperate together to build a safe place for everyone. American government places a huge role in the world and many countries need American Foreign Service to help them with their problems. After hearing Melissa Martinez, I understood maybe it is good to think about working in Foreign Service.
