Isaac and Joseph Football is Dangerous for Younger Kids Do you want your kids to get injured when playing football? Schools should remove football off their extra curricular activities because of many various reasons. Football has hurt kids around the world ever since. These reasons include ankle injuries, concussions, helmets aren’t 100% safe, and rough play could lead to alzheimer’s disease. One reason I think that we should not let younger students to play football is because when you tackle someone or get tackled you could injure someone or injure yourself it can result into ankle injuries, concussions, etc.
They think it perhaps is “interesting.” How is it interesting if players are risking their health for a league to make a huge commission. This is a reason why football should be banned for people of all ages. Violence is not the answer to anything. It has been proven through studies. This violence can lead to violence off of the football field.
But, some schools do not have the money for adequate protective equipment. So, the concussion protocol will help them recover from receiving a concussion in a practice or game. The only problem is how they can prevent concussions even with the concussion protocol even with the not up to standard equipment to protect the players. Another con is that the football players will not say they got a concussion and will get a big hit and walk fine and still have some dizziness. The players will not come out because they don’t want to be a sissy and want to keep on playing with their teammates.
These injuries would scare any parents and would deter them from allowing their sons to play football. Over the years, more parents have become stricter on the decision to allow their children to play football. Based on a survey in 2016, only 75% of parents would allow their children to participate in the sport. This number in 2013 was 87%. The number of parents that would allow their children to play decreased because of the of the recent news of the negative health issues associated with playing football.

Parents also say that the sport is too physical and should reduce physical contact. Life ending injuries in sports could be reduced

Did you know that 3.5 million children get injured each year by playing competitive sports? There has been a long disagreement about whether or not kids should be playing competitive sports, but I believe that kids should not play competitive sports. People that agree with kids playing competitive sports might argue that it is good because it helps/prevents obesity, helps kids make friends and gives them more time to hang out with friends, and help them in life. I do agree with those reasons, but I argue that kids should not play competitive sports because of injuries, stress, and overuse/burnout. One reason that children should not play competitive sports, is that it can cause many injuries that can even be fatal.
When considering the choice of whether or not students should get paid for good grades, the choice should definitely be no, students shouldn’t get paid for grades. One reason being that students should want to learn without always thinking they’re going to get money. Another reason is that students are remaining focused on money and not education when it should be the other way around. Though, there are many reasons as to why children shouldn’t get paid for grades. If students and others disregard the topic that children shouldn’t get paid for good grades, it will be their own problem and it can negatively affect a students future due to not having certain life skills and will only end up hurting them in the long run.

Youths should be banned from participating in sports such as dodgeball, cheerleading, and football. To begin, sports, such as dodgeball, should be banned because these sports give bigger kids an unfair advantage over weaker kids. According to Neil Williams, a professor of physical education at Eastern Connecticut State University, “The game allows the stronger kids to pick on and target the weaker kids” (171). This proves that some sports provide opportunities for bullying to occur in
Everything children do could end badly and they could get hurt, so to keep them from a sport that they love would just hurt the child. There are always going to be people that want to end a certain sport or an activity all together but the fact of the matter is that it just wont happen. If we eliminate football than we have to eliminate other dangerous sports as well and the world could never do that. Youth football has come a long way and continues to become a safer
