The Greasers did not have a curfew. On the other hand, not having a curfew could lead into drugs, and gangs. The Greasers did not have a curfew, and they attend drugs and having gand fights. When teens don’t accept a curfew, they will stay out as behindhand as possible, which leads to breaking the laws with friends. The article states that “Cities and towns should have curfews.A curfew allows less time to get in trouble with gangs, alcohol, and things like that.” Having a curfew leads to not dealing with illegal things. When a teen does not have a curfew, it leads to frequently seeing cops.
The curfew may make it more difficult for them, however, if someone wants something strongly enough, they will find a way around any obstacle. For example, if a teenager wanted to drink alcohol, they could easily go over to a friend's house over the weekend and drink there and stay the night, without ever breaking curfew. In conclusion, a 10 pm weekday curfew and a midnight weekend curfew should not be placed on teenagers. So many teens partake in sports practices, church gatherings, study sessions, club meetings, work, etc. after school and many may not be able to meet curfew.
Some teenagers sneak and drink at parties and other places without their parents even knowing. Some parents know their children are going to drink so they allow them to drink at home, with a hope that it will prevent them from going out doing senseless things. Underage drinking is very risky and can lead to variety of unoftunate and even tragic circumstances such as car accidents, violent behavior, alcohol poisoning, and other dangerous things. Most parents
This will cause those teenagers to know what it wrong before they ever have to learn by going to prison. If we change the laws and have juveniles tried as adults the crime rate in the United States will greatly decrease. The parents will start teaching their children responsibility and the teenagers will know that their actions will have consequences. There would also be less people in rehab centers as adults because they will learn as teenagers and not need to still be in trouble as adults. There is no reason to give the same crime different penalties because of a person’s age.
Many teenagers are acting differently away from the parents because many of them be hanging out with friends that cause to act different (Pokhrel). Most of the time teen have friends that are older and be causing trouble in the streets but, not at home. When the kids are at school their parents always be thinking that their adolescentes must be doing the right thing. But, sometimes the adolescentes be hanging out with others teens that they may be part of it but, the parent doesn’t know their child be part of something illegal. “(Lham Dorji) Physical environment were other factors that led youth to commit various crime” (Pokhrel).
Taking something away as important as a teenager’s driving privileges will not make that teenager become a better student. (Long Sentence) Taking away TV, or video games would be a better idea, as they are something that may distract a student from studying or doing their homework. A car, in most cases, is not usually a distraction for students. (Cumulative sentence) Finally, one of the most important reasons that taking away a student's privilege to drive would be a bad idea is because they would have almost no way to get extra help. Many after school tutoring sessions or homework help session are located at local colleges or libraries on the complete other side of town, miles away.
Teen gangs are dangerous for teens owing to the fact, as it is an easy way for one to get on an inauspicious path to life. Some people say teen gangs are not dangerous seeing that it can help teens who feel helpless and need love. Others consider teen gangs dangerous because it can cause teens to end up dead or in jail. Formerly, examples were given regarding why people think teenage gangs are robust and unfavorable as well as why teenagers get into gangs, moreover the information is going to be provided for one to tell if his or her child is involved in a gang. If one wants to truly find out if his or her child is in a gang, one should pay attention to his or her child 's appearance.
“Homeless” written by Anna Quindlen, is about how people choose to be homeless instead of going to shelters and finding homes to live in. People wonder why those who don’t have homes would rather sleep sitting up on benches or huddled in door ways instead of going to shelters. Some do because they are emotionally ill, because "they have been locked in before and they are damned if they will be locked in again." Some are afraid of the violence and trouble they may find there. But some of them want things that are not available to them in shelters and they don’t want to compromise, not even for food or a shower.
That makes it is very easy for them to do a negative behaviors such as skip the class, play until midnight, go to the night club, start to smoke, or even drugs or free sex. These are the most dangerous problem that foreign student could have. Do not let the kids change badly just because they are study abroad. There is one key to avoid that risky things, Parents should make sure their child have a good self-control when they are planning to go study abroad and after child arrived at a new place, keep watch out their behaviors and ask about their daily activity. But parents should not force their children to tell them.
Having school start later it would just mean that teens would go to bed at the same late time or even later which would mean they wouldn’t have anymore sleep then they had gotten before. Pushing back the school starting times would not do anything for the amount of sleep the teens would get. There would be some teens that would go to bed at a good time and get more sleep and that would help them with their grades, but every few would do that because most teens are addicted to their phones/electronics so they would stay up on their electronics and not go to bed till later in the
Some people believe that by lowering the minimum drinking age, that will make alcohol consumption less of an uncommon and interesting thing; therefore, less children will want to consume alcohol. Although this seems reasonable, it might get “old” to children around the age of eighteen, but will not diminish the excitement among younger generations to come. Students in school will be able to legally consume alcohol during school nights and this will cause them to have a hangover at school or possibly not even go at all. This could bring down school averages or cause a
I disagree with the city council’s decision because I think teenagers have a right to be out late, they may need to get away from their house because of danger, and there could be an emergency. First, if teenagers want to go out on the streets late then they should have a right to so. It may be the only time they can go out just to hang with friends or they may just need some air. Teenagers are old enough to decide if they want to go out late or not, they don’t always need adults telling them what to do; and curfew is one thing they don’t need. Second, some teenagers have problems at home such as being neglected or family problems that lead to abuse.
