Exploratory Essay I am the kind of person that cares about connections and relationships. I would rather have connections with others than be rich. My relative life goal is to be surrounded by those whom I love and love me. I doubt I could live a happy life without people with whom I make happy and in return, do the same. I could care less about friends material wise. As long as I am able to put a smile on their face and on mine, I will enjoy life. According to the personality tests on monster.com, I am a commander or leader. It tells me that I am more extroverted and introverted, but not by much. It states that I, or people with the same personality, get joy out of challenges. This may be true. Sometimes, I find it hard to make others smile but that just gives me more drive to make it happen. This may also have a connection to my hobby of video games. Video games themselves present you with challenges that you must overcome in order to win. I am rarely playing a game or doing something in one just for the reward, but rather to achieve the victory over the game. This may not line up too well with my values mentioned above. However, from my internships, shadows, and general speaking to the community, technicians are very friendly people. I see from both my last and current internship, they are very friendly and close. I aspire to become a computer technician because I like fixing things. Computers just make sense to me, the way they work, and what they do. I love working with and on computers. I find building one accomplishing and fun and it is the same with fixing them. I thoroughly enjoy what a computer has to offer and it seems like a good path to go on. I think it has good money in it and it is something I think I would enjoy for my life

This is achieved through adding a sense of realism as to how happiness should be experienced. Thus, it provides tangible means for people to grasp an abstract concept such as happiness. As a result, this enables her to persuade readers to take up her advice. For example, she draws links between the need to experience happiness with others through studies and real-life evidence regarding the lack of the time spent with others e.g., only 24 hours a year spent socialising (Whippman, 2017). This shows us the real-life implication of our actions in search of isolated happiness which has caused an unintended outcome on us as we are supposed to share joyous moments together.

Taking different English and writing classes has allowed me to write different types of papers. One paper that can be very challenging is the personal narrative. There are certain requirements that you must follow; each paper is different depending on who assigns it. When I am assigned to write this type of paper, usually it is dreadful to start and accomplish. This type of paper should just be removed from college writing courses.

I started playing my first year going into high school and continued until I graduated. I am ready to board the ship, and set sail – pointing towards a bright future of being an ECU pirate. Being admitted into the Honors College at ECU would be the catalyst to a successful future.
